Question: Could you explain the difference between samadhi of the heart and nirvikalpa samadhi?

Sri Chinmoy: These are two different things. In the heart centre you do not get nirvikalpa samadhi. Nirvikalpa samadhi you get only when you go beyond the domain of the mind—far beyond, to the very highest level of consciousness. When you go inside the heart, deep, deeper, deepest, there you get the feeling of inseparable oneness with your Inner Pilot, the Supreme. So these are two different things.
