There shall come a time
When each soulful prayer-treeWill reach Heaven’s perfection-height.

When God came to your doorTo deliver
His Infinity’s Immortality-Delight? ```His very compassion-smile
Can make heavy heartsImmediately and immeasurably light.
```I strive
Because I am alive.I am alive,
Therefore I must reachGod’s Heavenly Throne.
```My Lord is not discouraged,
Although I have failed many times.On the contrary,
He is begging me to continue. ```Your heart’s ultimate awakening
Will definitely bring to youGod’s transcendental Crown.
```Let everybody look upon
Your outer life.Only God will look upon
Your inner life. ```He wants his pride in himself
And God’s Pride in himTo be equal.
Is there anybodyWhose stupidity
Can equal his? ```You can change your life
In a twinklingEven with a feeble effort
Provided you love only God,Your Supreme Beloved,
In your wakeful hoursAnd in your sleeping hours.
```Your purity-heart
And God’s Satisfaction-SmileWill together guard
Your soul-castle on earth. ```There is not a single day
When I do not seeWave-doubts
On my mind-shore. ```A silence-mind
In silence appreciatesGod’s Lecture.
A purity-heart
With devotion receives muchFrom God’s Lecture.
```He is so brave
Within and withoutThat ignorance-teacher
Had to expel himFrom ignorance-school.
```God for God’s sake only:
This is the supreme realityThat each seeker must understand
When he enters into the spiritual life. ```You are chanting God’s Name
Sleeplessly.Definitely you can expect
God’s sure DescentFrom Heaven.
```A soulful sincerity-cry
And a powerful purity-smileAre fast-fading flowers
Of my life-tree. ```All outer entanglements
Are avoidableIf you love and feed
Your inner shrine. ```Only an unconditional
God-loverIs allowed to fly
God’s Love-Kite. ```Ignorance-feast has ruined
Not only his inner lifeBut also his outer body.
```He was attacked mercilessly
By teeming doubts.Therefore, he was desperately carried
To Heaven’s emergency room. ```Your extra attachment-pounds
Have considerably slowed downYour inner progress-speed.
```The heart that loves God
Only for God’s sakeHas a road map
To God’s secret and sacred City. ```If you pray to God
And meditate on GodAlong with a thousand outside interests,
Do you think GodWill ever satisfy you?
```God’s Justice-Light
Wanted to illumine him.Alas,
Instead of illumining him,It has frightened him.
```No previous qualification
Is neededWhen you want to study
In God’s inner School. ```You may desire everything
From God,But ask yourself
If you deserve anything. ```If you are not deeply absorbed
In your inner life,You will remain a stranger
To God-Satisfaction-Country. ```A mind of silence
Is the best prefaceTo the meditation-book.
```God’s Compassion
Has a very special loveFor the seeker’s listening ears.
```Work with what you have.
Then God will give youNot only what He has
But also what He is. ```Your heart-tears
Definitely have the capacityTo tear down
Your mind’s impossibility-barriers. ```Because you are reluctant
To leave your familiarIgnorance-home,
You are delaying indefinitelyGod’s Satisfaction-Smile
On your face. ```God will call you
To be near HimOnly if you have not squandered
Your hope-wealth. ```There is no insincerity involved
When I sayThat my daring aspiration
Will be responsibleFor your illumining realisation.
```My Lord,
Where have You beenFor so long?
“My child,
I have been lookingFor a place
Of silence and happinessFor your heart
To permanently live.” ```Your unlimited aspiration
Will be availableOnly if you are ready
To free yourselfFrom fame-prison.
```If you want endurance
In your life,Then you must cultivate purity
In your heartFirst.
```Each unaspiring,
UnrevealedAnd unmanifested soul
Is like a caged lionIn man’s life-circus.
```First become
A deathless longing for God.Then your life will automatically become
A deathless seedIn the Heart of God the Creator
And a deathless flowerIn the heart of God the creation.
```When my heart feeds
My humility-feet,I walk along purity-road
And reach my satisfaction-destination. ```Your business
Is to be consciousOf your faults.
God’s Business
Is to make you consciousOf your unmanifested divinity.
```Although ignorance-night
Tempts him,He has kept his heart
Far, far awayFrom its temptation.
His heart is at the FeetOf his Beloved Supreme.
```Openly you must criticise
Your lower nature.Secretly you must treasure
Your higher nature. ```When my silence-soul speaks
To my heart,My reasoning mind ridicules
My soul and my heart.Therefore, I am fully prepared
To discard my mind. ```You have entered
Into life’s battlefieldOn earth.
Therefore, impurity-armyHas vehemently attacked you.
```Your devotion-arrows
Are missing!What can your love-bow alone do?
```Once you allow
Any aimless thought-birdsTo fly in your life,
They will tirelessly flyAnd ruin your peace of mind.
```I always want to study
Your soul-history,But alas,
You have not keptEven a simple diary
Of your soul’s life. ```If you are truly
An unconditional truth-seeker,That means you have become
A living testamentTo God’s Compassion-Firmament.
```If you are feeding your desire-life
Every day,Then definitely you will take
A false startIn your Heavenward race.
```I have endured
A volley of insultsFrom this ungrateful world.
But its final insult,That I do not love God in man,
Is impossible for me to endure. ```Alas,
I really feel sorry for you,For you have locked your mind
In a bitterness-cave. ```Your soul is smiling
Through your heart’s tears.Therefore
God is addressing youAs His Eternity’s Fondness-child.
```The love-bond
Between man’s emptinessAnd God’s Fulness
Is somethingThat God sleeplessly treasures
And man unconsciously forgets. ```As long as determination-mind
And aspiration-heartMarch ahead of me,
I am definitely going to winIn the battlefield of life.
```You are not a child
Of the fearful past.You are a son
Of the fruitful future. ```God’s Silence-Smile
Is a messengerBetween my aspiration-heart
And God’s Satisfaction-Eye. ```He has sheltered his life
Under a canopy of ignorance-sleep.Therefore
The delight-wings of his heart-birdAre ruthlessly clipped.
```You live in the valley
Of forgetfulness.There your demanding vital
DemandsGod’s measureless Fondness.
```God will not accept
Fragments of my broken heart.He only accepts
My purity’s oneness-heart. ```In the morning
Love feeds his heart.At noon
Hope leads his life.In the evening
He and hope together swimIn satisfaction-sea.
```Can you believe
That God HimselfWants to preside over
My self-transcendence-play? ```During his meditation
God whispers immortal MessagesIn the ears
Of his silence-heart. ```God has not closed
His Fondness-DoorAgainst you.
It is you who have closedYour acceptance-door
Consciously and deliberately. ```You live in dark
Ignorance-cave,Yet you want to hear the whispers
From Immortality’s heights. ```I do not want to know
How long I have been sleepingIn the cradle of ignorance.
But I do want to knowWhen I will be able to free myself
From the cradle of ignorance. ```Always sail
In the blue-white hope-boat.You are bound to reach
The Golden Shore of the Beyond. ```There is no such thing
As the wrong placeWhen you sincerely
Look for God. ```If you are more than satisfied
With your purity-flames,God is not going to give you
His Divinity-Sun. ```Every day he plows
The barren mind-soil.Yet he hopes to collect
A bumper crop of realisation. ```God took a glimpse
Through His Vision-EyeAnd found that my case
Is not as hopelessAs I thought.
```Because you did not
Obey God today,You are sentenced
To a lifelong ignorance-torture. ```At long last
I have started playingSoulfully and untiringly
My heart’s gratitude-game. ```The constant rivalry
Between my mind and my vitalIs utterly stupid and fruitless.
```If you pay attention
To God’s Compassion-Talks,Your life will grow into
A marvellous creation of God’s. ```If our hearts could sing
Instead of our minds talk,We would not have any
Unfortunate misunderstandings. ```Take shelter
In your aspiration-life!Otherwise
You will soon be forcedTo live in the graveyard
Of your unfulfilled desires. ```You think
You can desert your soul.I tell you,
You are attemptingAn impossible task.
```Only at God’s choice Hour
God reveals to manThe Power
Of His all-knowingVision-Eye.
```His heart’s cry
And his soul’s smileTogether
Will plant and cultivateA divine life on earth.
```What you need is
Not the fulfilmentOf your desire-life,
But to have a lifeThat will grow
Into the steady flowOf faith-river.
```Since you have plunged
Into the aspiration-ocean,Your triumph over your past life
God Himself will announce. ```Alas,
God’s Satisfaction-SmileHas never dawned
In his life. ```Self-transformation
Is not possibleFor the seeker
Who is secretly in loveWith insecurity.
```Despite his outer knowledge,
He is worse than uselessIn the inner world.
```You are not ready
Even for the aspiration-walkAnd you want to win
The realisation-race? ```The soul does not need
A big audienceTo reveal
Its immortal divinity. ```Sincerity-hotel,
Humility-hotelAnd purity-hotel:
These hotels have quite oftenMany vacancies.
```How will it be possible
For you to seeYour heart’s illumination-sun
If you enjoyYour mind’s depression-storm?
```How can a fool
Take the final stepWhen he is afraid of taking
Even the initial step? ```Unless you are brutally sincere
With yourself,You will not be able
To cross ignorance-seaAt a single leap.
```You are gasping
For God’s Breath.Therefore
Strangling deathIs bound to disappear.
```Your mind is shrouded
In confusion-fog.Therefore, your life’s worries
Will never disappear,Even if Heaven’s light
Appears to you. ```If meditation cannot give you
Your needed satisfaction,Then try surrender.
It will work! ```I know one day
I shall thank you profuselyFor scolding me.
But todayI am inwardly cursing you
For scolding me. ```He is totally lost
BetweenHis unscrupulous past
And his superfluous present. ```His soul’s goodwill
BathesThe purity of the saints
And the impurity of the sinnersAlike.
```He offers his gratitude-life
Every dayTo God the Lover.
He offers his surrender-life
Every dayTo God the Transformer.
```God will grant you
His AttentionIf you are sure
That His CompanionshipWill give you
Perpetual satisfaction. ```Every day God wants to hear
The surrender-storyOf the aspiration-hero
Who lives only to please GodIn God’s own Way.
