It is beyond
The capacity of the mindTo enjoy divine ecstasy.

Is darkening the mind,Or the mind
Is eclipsing the world. ```I must immediately adopt
A new way of happinessIn my life.
```O old-age-mind,
How difficult it is for meTo make you smile!
```I came into the world
To see a new world,But now I have come to learn
That there is no such thingAs a new world.
It is only the old world,Revealing itself in different ways.
```For a divine accomplishment,
We needAn inner urge.
```Nobody asked you to carry
The weight of the world.Just carry yourself —
That will be more than enough. ```One fundamental reality:
My love of GodAnd the victory of Truth
Are inseparable. ```An unconditional surrender-life
Has to be the top priorityIn the spiritual life.

Can practiseThe spiritual life.

I never miss a single time
To satisfyMy Lord Supreme.
```We try to hide
From ourselves.Can there be anything

```What is jealousy,

Is for every day,And not just for
A particular day. ```Purity-progress
In the mindIs of absolute necessity.
```Desire-fire can burn
Not only the fingersBut the entire body.
```Alas, many days have gone by.
Yet I have failed to increaseMy aspiration-height.
```Have patience.
More divine thingsAre yet to blossom.
```A single moment’s hesitation
Can take us far, farther, farthestFrom our Goal.

Depression-shadows
Are very difficultTo cast aside.
```Expectation-experiences
Are quite often painful. ```Unconsciously,
If not consciously,We betray ourselves.
```May each thought of mine
Become a rising sunOn my heart’s horizon.
```If we pray and meditate,
Our stars will foreverBe rising.
```The mind is a market
Where we findEver-increasing noise.
```Desire-hungry people
Play onlyIn the mind’s playground.
```The beauty of divine light
AndThe fragrance of divine love
Are to be found togetherAlways.
```Each human being
Is not fully animal.Again, each human being
Is trillions of miles awayFrom becoming another God.

How to blame GodAnd
How to praise myself.```

At God’s choice HourIs not only reality

Is the eye that conquersIgnorance-night for us.

May my aspiration-heart
All the time walkSide by side
With my Lord Beloved Supreme. ```May aspiration become
My only constant choice. ```Who protects me

```The body knows
What clay is.The soul knows
What light is. ```We are born
From God’s Compassion-HeightAnd with God’s Justice-Light.
```Do not blame anybody
For your failures.Just have an adamantine will
To succeed. ```My mind,
Your sadness is self-styled.It is not real.

Keep quiet.Can you not see
That I am listeningTo my soul singing?

To one thing:Self-offering.

We must walk
With confidence,Intensity and joy

```Without the support of the heart,

```God-realisation is not as difficult

ChallengesImperfection.

Ignorance can attack youAt any moment.
```We make God’s Heart
Feel sadWhen we delay.
```Only one desire,

Those who have no faith
Cannot have God-realisation. ```The world is sinking.
Our prayers have to beAbsolutely sincere.
```Self-doubt is the worst enemy.
Be free from self-doubtIf you really want to make progress.

On tiptoe. ```Man does not realise
That nature’s divinityIs most illumining
And most powerful. ```Time will reveal
Everything —Encouraging
Or discouraging. ```To surmount every barrier
We shall have to diveDeep within.
