When I first arrived at the Holiday Inn in St. Louis, I wanted to rest for twenty or thirty minutes. Alas, after five minutes, a phone call came.
"You wanted an iron?"
I said, "What iron?"
The lady said, "Not you? Never mind!"
She did not say, "I am sorry," or anything. She just hung up.
