_Professor Carse:_ One of the most unusual things about your meditation, about your practice, from my observation, is that you bring to it a lot of activities that are not ordinarily associated with meditation or with gurus in the popular mind. One of those is the music that you started the programme with. Let me ask you a little bit about your music and about that flute. I take it that's an Indian flute?
Sri Chinmoy: Indian.
Professor Carse: And you played an Indian tune.
Sri Chinmoy: Yes.
Professor Carse: Do you sometimes play Western music?
Sri Chinmoy: On very rare occasions, but I do not know Western music. But only, if it comes from within, I practise, but mostly it is Indian melodies that I play.
