Sri Chinmoy: The thing is that they were ready and there are many, many ready. I am a farmer, a spiritual farmer. The Supreme brought me to this part to cultivate the soil. It was fertile soil. Unfortunately, India was under the impression that this is a barren soil. So, we cherished our wrong notion and belief for a long, long time. Then there came a time when true knowledge dawned on us and we came to the West and we discovered, like Columbus discovered, we discovered that here this place is also equally fertile, only the farmer has to plough the field, the spiritual soil, with love, concern and patience. If love, concern and patience the farmer constantly has, then here, in this part of the world, in the West, we are bound to collect a bumper crop: realisation.
