Sri Chinmoy: That is through true, proper meditation. The necessity of a spiritual Master is of paramount importance at this point. We want knowledge. That is why we go to school. We get knowledge; the teacher helps us. In the spiritual life also, the teacher, spiritual teacher, helps us. He teaches us how to meditate on the heart, how to concentrate on the heart. Here the spiritual teacher is a private tutor; he teaches. As a private tutor teaches you at home, so that you get better marks in the school, the spiritual teacher also helps you in concentrating on the heart and how you can bring your soul to the fore in your day-to-day life meditation.
