The Mother Superior's Gift

Only five or six years ago, in Switzerland, our Dodula made arrangements for me to meet with a Mother Superior and a few nuns. My job was to meditate in front of them. Can you imagine — where to where? Then they had to ask me questions. Again, they were examining me. These people were authorities. They had to ask me questions on their subject to see whether I studied.

Afterwards, the Mother Superior was so happy. She wanted to give me a donation. So, she came to me with an envelope and said, "I would like to give you."

I said, "No, no, no."

She said to me, "No, you have to take it. You have served the Saviour in us."

I said to her, "On one condition. You give me your envelope. I shall give you mine." So, she gave me the envelope, and I saw it was a hundred dollars. But in my envelope, there was \$200. She took mine and I took hers. Then she got \$200 and I got \$100.
