The Prophecy

I honoured one Bengali restaurant owner from Chittagong with the “Lifting Up the World with a Oneness-Heart” award. After I lifted him, he said something very prophetic. He said that after Tagore got the Nobel Prize, Tagore became the world poet, bishwa kabi.

Then he said, “One day, I tell you, Sri Chinmoy will be known as bishwa Guru – world Guru.” Then he said that he was the one who was telling this, announcing this first.

His prophecy came true. In President Gorbachev’s message to me, he said I am a man of God, and that I am not only the Guru of young people, like Lotika and others. I am the Guru of his generation as well.

There are many, many good experiences. Again, there are a few sad experiences. Life is like that, good and bad. You have to take the experiences and place them at the Feet of God.
