28. The Kingdom of self-delusion

```
It took me a long time
To settle up all my accounts
With hope.
Hope-flames gave birth
To the body of immortal
Frustration-chaos in me.
O hope!
Before you were born,
I ruled the Kingdom of dust and stone.
And now with you,
I rule the Kingdom of self-delusion.
I am the King, the present saviour,
Without
The presence of certainty’s smile. ```
