Foreword

To have been asked to write a short preface to a book by Sri Chinmoy is for me a great honour.

Sri Chinmoy, for the last four years, has been my guiding light both inwardly and outwardly. Here is a being who has realised and revealed and is continuously manifesting God's Transcendental Reality, which is Love, most pure, most sublime.

The height of consciousness which Sri Chinmoy has attained must be manifested in every moment of his being and doing. The words in this book, and indeed in all of Sri Chinmoy's books, are purely and simply embodied Divine Light. Consequently, to read-or better still to meditate on-the writings of Sri Chinmoy can do nothing but shed God's Light and Love on the deepest questions of human and divine life.
