My Morning Soul-Body Prayers, part 20

1 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
From today on,
Every day You expect from
Your supremely chosen children
A divinely dignified spiritual life.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

2 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
My Mother Earth is beauty.
My Father Heaven is light.
And I am their Eternity’s
Reality-existence.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

3 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
You are Your Compassion-Eye
And I am my aspiration-heart.
Together we live and fulfil each other.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

4 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
Every day
Do give me the capacity
To sow a new aspiration-seed
In my heart-garden.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

5 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
Every morning
My aspiration-heart runs and runs
To touch the peace-sea-shore.
Every evening
The peace-sea-shore comes and blesses
My aspiration-heart.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

6 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
My morning prayers and meditations
Give me the joy of the higher worlds.
My evening prayers and meditations
Give me the joy of the inner worlds.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

7 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
May the singing and dancing
Of divine melodies
Awaken my heart
Every morning.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

8 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
My heart-bird sings and sings
Your Victory-Songs
Even when my body, my vital,
My mind and I
Are fast asleep.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

9 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
All are caught by Time.
Nobody — nobody! — can hide
From Time.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

10 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
I am sailing and sailing and sailing
My life-boat
Towards the shore
Of the Unknowable.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

11 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
Now that I live
In aspiration-sunshine-days,
I must not think of
My desire-ignorance-nights.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

12 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
My God-worship
Is my heart’s intimacy
And not my life’s secrecy.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

13 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
May my heart be
An ever-steady and ever-climbing
Aspiration-flame.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

14 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
My sleeplessly climbing aspiration-heart
Is the richest, fondest treasure
Of my soul.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

15 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
My morning sincerity-heart
Is speaking:
“I am for God;
I am all for God;
I am only for God.”
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

16 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
The closer a seeker is to God,
The more strict God becomes —
A fact undeniable!
But once the seeker realises God,
Nothing remains impossible.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

17 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
I have written many, many, many books.
My God-Forgiveness-book
Is by far the best.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

18 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
When I pray to You,
You give me a beautiful Smile.
When I pray for You,
You give me one hundred
Most powerful Smiles
In a row.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

19 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
Please bless me
With a very deep God-thirst
And a very strong God-hunger.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

20 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
My morning prayer
And my evening meditation
Have transformed my heart
Into beauty’s rose garden.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

21 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
This morning my heart-bird-wings
Are flying and flying,
Singing Your Victory-Songs
In Infinity’s Sky.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

23 January 2006 (I)

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
Silence is the newness of my heart.
Silence is the fulness of my life.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

23 January 2006 (II)

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
My life I surrender to God’s Eye.
My heart I surrender to God’s Feet.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

24 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
The more I love You,
The more I need You.
“My child, I am adding something:
The more you love Me,
The more you need Me,
The more I am proud of you.”
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

26 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
God and vacation do not rhyme.
Chinmoy and vacation also do not rhyme.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

28 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
Where is true happiness?
“My child, happiness is
Far beyond the domain
Of the doubting and binding mind.”
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

29 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
God Himself has taught me
Seventy-four of His Heartbeat-Songs
Most compassionately
And most affectionately.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

30 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
Who am I?
I am a full
God-manifestation-hero-warrior-promise
Here on earth.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

31 January 2006

```
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
May my God-gratitude-heart
Blossom most beautifully
Every day.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
```

Notes

Editor's preface

During Sri Chinmoy’s Christmas/New Year trip to Malaysia from 23 November 2005 to 25 February 2006, he visited six locations. They were Kuala Lumpur, Pangkor Island, Kuantan, Kijal, Penang and Langkawi Island.

As in previous Christmas trips, Sri Chinmoy often practised his heavy weightlifting in his hotel room in the small hours of the morning. In addition to his regular exercises, he concentrated on the seated double-dumbbell lift, using varying weights ranging from 400 pounds to 1,004 pounds.

At these sessions, which were recorded on video, Sri Chinmoy continued his pattern established in previous years, offering an early morning prayer and performing one of his compositions on his blue violin — a segment which he calls “Sri Chinmoy the Eternal Beginner.” He would frequently sing these songs after playing them. Towards the end of the trip, Sri Chinmoy also played songs on the alto flute, viola, horn ocarina and unisphere.

Each day Sri Chinmoy showed the video of his early morning workouts to his students. On 6 December 2005, Sri Chinmoy formed a new group of girls under 25 years of age to recite his early morning prayers.

On 31 January 2006 — the day after lifting 270 pounds in the wrist curl — Sri Chinmoy introduced push-ups into his morning sessions. This was the first time he had done push-ups on a Christmas trip since 7 January 1986 in Kyoto, Japan, where he performed 2,230 push-ups continuously in 59 minutes and 50 seconds.

This year, Sri Chinmoy’s push-ups were mostly done in four sets, beginning with rapid, slight dips and progressing to full, deep dips.
