Gratitude through Happiness

Question: How can I thank you for inspiring the help that people gave me when I was injured recently?

Sri Chinmoy: The best way to thank me is through your happiness. We have no outer way to offer our gratitude to our Lord Beloved Supreme. If He sees us sincerely happy, that happiness He takes as gratitude. Again and again, I wish to tell you, if you are sincerely happy, sincerely happy, that happiness is the real expression of our gratitude to Him.

I wish to thank each and every one who went to help you from the very depths of my heart. We have a large family, a oneness-family, oneness-family. I know of many experiences when sons and daughters who live far upstate do not come to visit their parents who are in the hospital. They feel that some-body else will care for them. That somebody does not exist. So I am very happy and very grateful that many people went to help you.
