My Lord Supreme,
Your Compassion-Eye
I adore,
Your Forgiveness-Heart
I implore.

The moment I look within,
I see my climbing heart.
The moment I look without,
I see my descending mind.

The supreme duty of the chosen ones
Is to please God in God’s own Way
Without waiting for God’s outer Command.

My mind declared
Its perfect perfection.
Alas, my soul came and discovered
That my mind is full
Of imperfection-blunders.

Each prayer goes up
To God the Power.
Each meditation brings down
God the Peace.

The mind thinks
That it can never have a golden future.
The heart feels
That there is only one important thing:
Eternity’s Now-satisfaction.

You can increase your heart’s joy?

The breath of ceaseless surrender!

Has gone out on a long vacation.

Better than you found it,
Then use your heart of compassion

To say goodbye to your desire-friends,

For God’s inner Pressure

With your soul’s light
And then keep it under your mind’s

At Your Protection-Perfection-Feet.

His Protection-Umbrella
And His Satisfaction-Sun.
