My soul, I needYour ancient wisdom-light
To feed my heart.
My heart, I need
Your pure love
To feed my mind.

O humanity’s loving heart,Your sweetness-smile
Captures God’s Compassion-Eye.

God asks forOnly one good quality,
Not even two,
Inside the heart-life
Of each and every human being.

Unless you becomeA self-giving server of God
In man,
Your complete happiness
Will not come into being.

God does not want meTo create opinions.
He wants me only to create
Prayerful and soulful actions.

Simplicity in the outer lifeCannot do everything
To please us.
Purity in the inner life
Cannot do everything
To please us.
But once we have surrender
To God’s Will,
Both simplicity and purity
Will be of unimaginable assistance.

Only a man of sterling faithIs ready for the inner journey,
The journey that God treasures
More than anything else.

Before you expect any favour from God,Show Him your mind’s determination,
Your heart’s aspiration
And your life’s willingness.

I have entered many timesMy heart-temple,
Which is so beautiful.
How I wish I could enter only once
My soul-temple,
Which is infinitely more beautiful,
Plus fruitful!

Say the right thing,Do the right thing,
Become the right person,
Before it is too late
For you to feel
That God-Compassion is on your side.

The mind says to the heart,“Have you come here to destroy me,
Or have you come to illumine me?”
The heart says,
“I have come to illumine you,
And nothing else.”
The mind says,
“Then I am at your disposal.”

A mere sadness-heartCannot expedite
Our Godward journey.
A mere sadness-heart
Is a deplorable failure
In a human life.

Unless you becomeA sleepless voyager,
The surges of ignorance-sea
Will just devour you!

Be not at warWith your mind’s imperfection.
Just take care of your heart.
God’s Compassion
And your heart’s aspiration
Will do everything for you.

Aspiration-thirst.

The outer world-voiceIs so easy to hear.
The inner world-voice
Is extremely difficult to hear
Because my body, vital and mind
Are at constant war
Inside my silence-heart-life.

Is the only good quality that I have
In my aspiration-life.

Sweetness, soulfulness and fruitfulnessHave dawned in your eyes
Because you have made
Your unconditional surrender to God.

The mind’s complaint against the heartIs a birthless and deathless story.
The heart’s complaint against the mind
Is a rare experience-song.

He wants to see a soulful smile
From each and every human being.

He believes only in

An aspiration-heart
Will liberate you.

Will immortalise you.

Of stupendous victory-delight.

A heart of sleepless surrenderIs the treasure-house
Of God’s endless, sacred Blessings.

Sweetness-forgiveness has dawnedUpon your life,
Because you are sleeplessly pleasing God
In God’s own Way.

God does not want youTo enjoy lethargy any more.
He wants you to be dynamic
In outer self-giving
And inner God-becoming.

And be possessed by His world.

Of inner progress-delight.

Will illumine you and fulfil you.

Heavenward journey

How can you make any inner progressIf you allow yourself all the time
To be assailed
By blind impatience-night?

Once you have establishedYour inner contact
With your Inner Pilot,
Your life’s transformation-victory
Will not remain a far cry.

Immortality does loveThe beautiful achievements
Of fleeting time.

No matter how hard you tryTo annoy or ignore God,
You will fail to escape
God’s all-pervading Compassion-Eye.

Man has only two duties:To offer God an orphan-cry
And to offer God a prince-smile.

Alas,We unmistakably treasure
The boons
And cleverly forget
The Boon-Giver.

God is impartial,But the human mind
Fails to understand it.
It judges God’s Wisdom-Light
In its own very limited way.

God tells meThat I have many times given Him
My crying heart.
Now He wants me to give Him
My smiling life.

If you pay attentionTo God’s timely inner Warnings,
Then in your outer life
You can avoid danger-accidents.

It seems that most human beingsSecretly enjoy
An overdose of doubt.

When you do not do the right thing,Neither Heaven’s compassion
Nor earth’s concern
Will be responsible for you.
You will only be able to blame yourself.

Each day we try to becomeA little wiser.
Alas, instead of becoming wiser,
We become helplessly older.

Any piece of good newsIs only meant for
Heaven-receiving and earth-inspiring
Human beings.

A genuine prayer-life —Believe it or not, my fellow seekers —
Is supremely simple and fruitful.

How can you haveFull confidence
In your mind’s
Temporary faith?

Because of God’s constantlyUnconditional Forgiveness,
Man can still hope
And still proceed forward.

My doubting mindAnd my strangling vital
Have joined the gathering
Of completely lost beings.

If you are a strangerTo aspiration-summit,
How do you expect perfection-sun
To dawn upon you?

WithoutGod’s infinite Compassion-Light,
No human being can shatter
His life-binding shackles.

Your life will not be ableTo remove the dust of failure
If you do not make friends
With climbing hope and illumining promise.

To pass through the dark corridorOf ignorance-night,
You need a heart
Flooded with silence-light.

Be happy, be happy, be happy
Only after you have accomplished
The impossible,
And not before!

O sky-vast hope,Where are you?

To my heart’s streaming tears’?

For its exorbitant self-praise.

It prayerfully waits
For God to do the needful.

Has been washed away
By a ruthless, giant disbelief.

No blighted doubt can uprootThe sterling faith-plant
In the heart of human beings.

Alas, there is a yawning gulfBetween hurtful depression
And powerful determination.

The repetition of adviceI never enjoy,
Either when I give it
Or when I receive it.

The failure-fear of my mind.

I always see a vast expanse
Of silence-peace.

At the faith-starting line,
Preparing to run
To the peerless satisfaction-finish.

Always like to play
God-fulfilment-game.

God has a special liking for me,Not because
I have achieved something great,
But because
I have a God-faith-foundation-heart.

The ignorance-giantRuthlessly drags my mind
Along the brooding,
Thickening doubt-road.

O my mind,I can tolerate you
Even when you do many, many
Things wrong.
But one aspect of yours
I dislike vehemently,
And that is your stubborn
Unwillingness-frown.

Stark disappointmentGave a hasty chase
To his fame-fed life.

I have put my hope-friendIn my heart’s aspiration-boat
To arrive at perfection-fulfilment-shore.

My heart’s abiding aspiration-cryIs now being protected and perfected
And eventually will be liberated
By the watchful Compassion-Eye
Of my Lord Supreme.

Every morning I doMy heart’s oneness-stretching exercises
So that I do not suffer
From my mind’s insecurity-cramps.

The sweetness-fruitsOf my surrender-life
My Lord Supreme
Dearly treasures.

To gain confidence-might,Use your imagination-mind
And aspiration-heart.
You are bound to be successful!

To forgive humanity unconditionallyIs, indeed, to meet
An unparalleled challenge in life.

O stupid mind,When will you have the wisdom
To search for eternal Truth
And not for temporary, fleeting truth?

Based on what I have observedIn my spiritual life,
I believe that nothing good
Can ever remain unachieved
By a sincere God-lover.

Alas, I do not know how longI shall have to hang on to
A tiny, feeble faith-thread
In my aspiration-life!

One single purity-thought
Has kept my entire being
Extremely happy
For many long hours.

My mind says to my heart:“O heart, tell me
What you have learnt
From God’s Satisfaction-Smile.”
My heart says to my mind:
“O mind, do not search
For earth-explanation,
But long for Heaven-illumination!”

Alas, how many timesDoes God have to tell me
That it is my aspiration-seed
That will one day grow into
A fully-blossomed manifestation-tree?

A new, self-giving happiness-song.

The Eastern view of life:Time will wait for you
As long as you want.
The Western view of life:
Alas, what was I doing
When the time disappeared?

He who has not achievedPerfection-patience in life,
Will not be blessed
By God’s infinite Delight.

Is precisely the thing God wants
From each and every human being.

To His intimate circle of believers.

Of a seeker-heart.

As often as He is entitled to.

With the destruction-train.
