I do not want to be
The thought
Of a great thinker.
I long to be
The breath
Of a good server.

Earthly duty
Is its fleeting moment.
Heavenly duty
Is its everlasting life.

An unaspiring man
Is his own boundless
Darkness-ignorance-pride.

May I be satisfied
All the time
In my God-belief-freedom.

Fear, doubt and jealousy:
These are the things
That endlessly waste
Our human life.

When I do not
Pray and meditate self-givingly,
I roam
In sorrow’s despair-desert.

The only mistake
That seriously displeases God
Is my unwillingness to be
A choice instrument of His.

My Lord,
I need from You
Only two kinds of smiles:
My enthusiasm-multiplying smile
And my frustration-destroying smile.

God is always ready to bless you
With His Divinity’s Simplicity-Boon,
But you prefer to have
The web of complexity.

If you are relentlessly unselfish,
Then no fear
Can torture your mind.

My daily prayer to God
To grant me a pure heart
Protects me
From my own selfishness-mind.

My Lord Supreme feels sad
And not mad
When I want to change the world
Untimely,
Plus in my own way.

The heart-runners
Every day run
The self-transcendence-joy-marathon.

Insecurity
Spreads its jealousy-wings
When I water
My mind’s negativity-plants.

I am so happy
That at long last I am able
To reveal my heart’s
Aspiration-illumination-bridge.

Unless I reduce myself
To humility-zero,
I will not be allowed
In God’s ever-transcending Elevator.

The path
To God’s Golden Shore
Has to be discovered
And not invented.

If you do not
Bring your mind’s ego-trip
To an end,
You will remain always
An aspiration-dedication-dwarf.

Only a heart
Of prayerful and soulful aspiration
Can compose
God-oneness-songs.

My eyes
Rise and rise
To meet
The planet sun.
My heart
Dives and dives
To meet
The knowledge-sun.

God’s Obedience-Rules
Are not for the punishment
Of our life,
But for the enlightenment
Of our entire being.

God never wants to end
Your inner conversation with Him.
It is you who allow
Your restlessness-mind
To depart from God’s company.

If your mind
Is a genuine truth-seeker
And your heart
Is a genuine God-lover,
Then why do you have to
Pay your visits to God
In secrecy supreme?

If you do not give up
Living in the lap
Of mind-vital-luxury,
Then how can God bless you
With the Smile
Of His Satisfaction-Heart?

Alas, my self-doubt
Is so powerful
That it can easily blow out
My mind’s inspiration
And my heart’s aspiration-candles.

And defeat
Your mind’s
Ignorance-darkness-night.

My Lord,
Let me ask You something:
Can I dare to cherish
The hope
That one day I will become
A supremely choice instrument
Of Yours?

When I see the world
With my enthusiasm-mind,
When I feel the world
With my willingness-heart,
I feel that
There is nothing I cannot do
For the world.

The more you love God,
The sooner you will be able
To declare God’s Victory
Over your own nature.

O seeker,
Never be complacent.
There is always time
For more deplorable mistakes
In your life.

It seems that there is
A constant battle
Between
The desire-follower-mind
And the aspiration-inspirer-heart.

My life’s outer prosperity
And my heart’s inner poverty
Are generally found together.

My Lord tells me
That He has given me the mind
To charm His Ear,
And He has given me the heart
To feed His Heart.

You do not have to find out
If God loves you and needs you.
You just need to ask your heart
To cry inwardly
And ask your life
To smile outwardly.

I am not living on earth
To see tomorrow’s sunrise.
I am living on earth
To be one with Eternity’s sunshine.

World-withdrawal
Is no solution.
World-acceptance,
World-transformation
And world-perfection
Are the real solutions.

Alas,
I did not know
That I was all along living
On unfounded dreams.

Irrespective of their development,
The souls proudly orbit
Around their Lord Beloved Supreme.

Your life will definitely
Be riddled with
Useless feelings of unworthiness.

Not to see good in others
Is not only a serious
But also a dangerous
Defect.

You make a monumental blunder
When you do not respond
To God’s Compassion-flooded Eye.

Prayer and meditation-highways
Can be used only
By constantly self-giving seekers.

God’s Compassion
And God’s Concern
Champion the God-hunger-cries
Of the seeker.

Happiness is not
A hallucination.
Happiness is not
An illusion.
Happiness is
An unmistakable illumination.

At times the human mind
Loves to hear
Not only flattery
But also absurdity.

He is so happy
That at last
His God-existence-doubts
Are withering away.

Expectation itself
Is a most deplorable experience.
We must avoid it
If at all possible.

Every day
I get tremendous joy
In taking care of
My deep-rooted faith-plant.

O my mind,
Can you not see
That you are suffering
From chronic God-disobedience?

I am fully prepared
To be a total failure
As a human being
To please my Lord Supreme
In His own Way.

Because I no longer allow
My heart to be invaded
By my past insecurities.

The mind-ego’s thunder-road
Can never reach
The heart’s oneness-fulness-shore.

Are those who are
Expectation-freed detachment-smiles.

I protest popularity contests,
I protest supremacy contests,
For these contests interfere with
My inner oneness-life.

Do not cherish your failure-life.
That is the task
Of your enemies.
Do not cherish your victory-life.
That is the task
Of your Lord Beloved Supreme.

No peaceful eyes,
No soulful heart
Can remain unnoticed
By the God-loving humanity.

A readiness-mind
And a willingness-heart
Know no limits.

How can God grant you
Your oneness-freedom,
When you have become
Your own aspiration-extinction?

God is always
His Compassion-descent.
Can I not become
My aspiration-ascent?

Can you not see
That God is swimming
In the sea of tears
Because of
Your love-devotion-surrender-decline?

O seeker,
Since you have
An astonishing capacity
For self-deception,
How can you ever expect
To see God’s Satisfaction-Face?

If you make yourself
An easy target
For ignorance-night,
How can you be a lover
Of wisdom-light?

To clear the horizon
Of self-doubts,
I must challenge
Fear within
And fear all around.

How I wish I could have
The heart of a child,
So that I could become
A perfect stranger to sorrow!

Let us all try
To make our mind silent
And peaceful,
And give no importance
To the dramatic mind.

I am simply mortified
When I consider
The long-neglected promise
That I made to my soul!

Peace is the only inner beauty
That constantly sings
God’s Glory.
Therefore,
It can never be defiled.

My Lord,
My heart is all gratitude to You,
For You have saved me
Time and again
By adamantly ignoring
My endless pleas.

Deliverance does not come from
Renunciation.
Deliverance comes from
Sleepless self-offering.

That unless I seek Him
With my heart
And not with my eyes,
He will not fulfil
My aspiration-cries.

To give to God?
Your inner assurance
That you cannot do anything
Without His Compassion-Light.

The moment I see and feel
God’s Footsteps
Pressing upon my heart,
I sing
God’s world-illumining Songs.

God has come to you
So many times.
Alas, each time
You fall asleep
Just before His Arrival.

God is always kind
And compassionate to you.
Can you not give Him some rest
From your constant world-complaints?

God tells our souls
To challenge our weaknesses
And bring them to the fore
For their complete transformation.

Sleeplessly I shall fly
Until
I prayerfully arrive
At my Lord’s Heart-Nest.

O seeker,
Challenge the defiance
Of your mind’s falsehood
If you want to please
Your Lord Supreme
In His own Way.

You are a fool
If you have no reverence
For virtue.
Do you not know
That even the devils themselves
Ultimately develop respect
For virtue?

God does not want you
To be afraid of Him.
He wants you always to love Him.
But at times if to fear Him
Is the only way
For you to make progress,
Then God feels that is
Absolutely the right way for you
At that moment.

The inheritance
Of restless dreams
Is an empty and useless
Reality.

Intolerance
Has invaded my mind-house.
Therefore
My mind is totally empty
Of sanity.

Mine is the progress-heart
That can never imagine
A life that is vacant,
A life that is barren,
A life that moves backward.

If you listen prayerfully
To your soul-song,
Then your mind and your life
Will be inundated with obedience.

When I look at
The compassion-eye of my soul,
All my heart’s gratitude
Comes to the fore.

You may say that the soul
Is hard to see,
Harder to feel
And hardest to converse with,
But I tell you,
The soul-reality is the only reality
That will eventually give you
The oneness-fulness-breath
Of Immortality.

O my heart,
So many times
I have deceived you,
But still your faith in me
Is not only beautiful
But also fragrant.

I am absolutely sure
That no harm can be done
To my oneness-earth-life’s
Heart-breath.

If you do not surrender
Every drop of your unworthiness,
How will you ever receive
God’s unconditional Compassion-Eye?

My Lord’s Confidence-Light
In the aspiring heart of humanity
Can never be measured.

Since your belief in God is lukewarm,
How can you ever become
A perfect stranger
To your own life of misery?

Alas,
Every day
God has to face
The naked sword
Of my doubting mind.

O my mind and vital,
There is only one real path,
And that path is
The path of the heart.
Walk along that path
If full satisfaction is something
That you want and need.

Pray and meditate self-givingly.
Your life-possibility-blossoms
Will turn into
Inevitability’s beauty-fragrance.

You do not find what you seek.
Why?
Precisely because
You do not try to silence
Your life’s monkey-mind-activities.

Finally I have dethroned
My deception-mind-king
And enthroned
My illumination-heart-emperor.

What is deception?
It is something that goes
Round and round
In the unaspiring human mind.

Remain always inside
Your heart-blossoming hopes
And not inside
Your mind-multiplying jungle.

Vast
Is love-field.
Fertile
Is devotion-field.
Invincible
Is surrender-field.

Each human heart
Is the most desirable fountain
To quench hope-thirst.

If you can put your earthly life
Back on the Heavenly aspiration-track,
Your ignorance-intoxication
Will sooner than at once
Come to an end.
