The non-attachment of the mind
Is definitely good,
But the concern of the heart
Is infinitely better.

My Lord does not approve of
My mind’s superiority.
He does not approve of
My life’s inferiority either.

If we want to close our mind-door,
Who can prevent us?
But we allow our minds to make us feel
That we are too tired.

Alas,
I do not seem to know
The difference between
My mind’s hallucination
And my heart’s exhilaration.

O my Lord,
Like my soul,
May my heart, mind,
Vital and body
Become ready servants
Of Your supreme Will.

My Lord,
Do give me back
My heart’s ancient peace-morning-days
And peace-evening-nights.

A cheerful mind, a cheerful heart,
A cheerful life —
These are, indeed, Heaven-products.

God never wants me to celebrate
My journey’s close.
He wants me to enjoy only
My journey’s constant self-transcendence.

Even the beating of a thousand drums
Will not be able
To awaken the sleeping mind
If it wants to enjoy
Its ignorance-pleasure-life.

I have come to realise
That my best compatriot
In my aspiration-life
Is my God-obedience.

In the long run, I know,
Everybody will be
A chosen instrument of God,
And everybody will fulfil God
In God’s own Way.
But I believe only in the importance
Of here and now.

My Lord,
I pray to You to grant me
A gratitude-heart
So that when I pass by You,
I will not foolishly ignore You.

May each and every thought of mine
Be redolent with the purity of
My heart’s God-surrender-bliss.

And I shall forever believe
That God manifests Himself
Through each individual
In a unique way.

God always takes for granted
Man’s insincerity-mind
And his ingratitude-heart.

My mind’s lack of readiness
And my heart’s lack of willingness
Can never be acceptable to God.

Not because of what I say and do,
But because of what I truly am.

To face bravely
The difficulty ahead of you,
The difficulty itself surrenders to you —
To your wide surprise.

The mind-river is terribly afraid
Of flowing onward.
The heart-river enjoys
Flowing onward.
Therefore, it arrives unmistakably sooner
At the destination-ocean.

From possession-hunger
To renunciation-meal
Is, indeed, an extraordinary distance.

May the beauty of my heart
Forever remain
And not disappear
The way a rainbow disappears.

A hero-warrior
Achieves extraordinary things
In his life
Because he does not allow himself
To be pushed by destiny’s wind.

The sword of time
Does not destroy us
Or punish us.
It only helps us transform our nature.

O my mind,
Try sincerely to love silence
And not be inspired to broadcast
Your love.

Who can save you,
Who can help you,
O my mind,
If you do not step aside
From doubt-suspicion-world?

He is extremely happy
Because silence garlands
His morning prayers
And his evening meditations
With tremendous pride.

He is his indomitable will-power.
He has said his final good-bye
To ignorance-night,
To breathe in the light and delight
Of Heaven.

If you do not
Soulfully pray and meditate daily,
Then you will be overwhelmed
By a tidal wave of self-doubt.

No mighty soul
Can ever be enslaved
By the tyranny
Of endless desires.

There is a God-manifestation-dream
In each aspiration-heart.
This dream is, alas, imprisoned
And has to be liberated.

We have inside us
A miniature world.
Let us not hide
But illumine
This small world
Of imperfection.

Infinity multiplied by Infinity
Are the aspiration-flowers
That you are offering
To the Supreme.

Today
God’s Name is Happiness
Because His children have proved
Their loving oneness
With His creation.

Each divine Word from God
Is a most powerful aspiration-flame
To illumine and immortalise us
In the Heart of our Beloved Supreme.

The secret of secrets
Of the dearest child of God:
God is dearest
Not because He is omniscient,
Omnipotent and omnipresent,
But because He is all Love.

Just remember:
If you really love the Supreme
In your Master,
You will not do anything
To disappoint or displease Him.

God’s loving Life-Breath is all yours,
For the manifestation of what you are:
The unmanifested God.

When I meditate soulfully,
I make myself five years old.
When I do not meditate,
I become eighty years old.

When you listen to
And obey
The Master’s divine wish,
You are fulfilling
The Divine Itself.

Disobedience
Is much worse than falsehood,
For it breaks the divine law.

The Supreme is offering you
His continuous Blessing,
So you can learn how to bring forward
The eternal child inside you.

The real gift
That God deeply cherishes
And treasures
Is your soulful smile.

Humanity’s appreciation
Of God’s creation
Is its true gift
To the Creator.

Love is the greatest force;
Who can dare to deny it?
But God’s Command-Force
Is also the greatest Love.

Each good thought
That you have encouraged
And nourished
Is your life’s true work of art.

The goodwill
That you offer to others
Comes to the fore
To manifest your own divinity.

The moment you are about
To forget God’s Dictates,
Soulfully think about
Your morning prayer
And your morning meditation.

Although you have already seen
Thousands of days,
O seeker,
When tomorrow dawns,
You can create something absolutely new
In your life.

You can constantly transcend yourself
Only by discovering
And maintaining your inner joy.

When you have realised the Supreme
In His own Way,
You will never, never manifest Him
In a human way.

Even when ignorance captures
The Supreme’s dearest children,
He never accepts defeat.

Just do the right thing
In the inner world and in the outer world.
Lo, you will realise the Highest
In the way that is meant for you.

Physical brothers
Appear and disappear,
But spiritual brothers
Follow the path
Of eternal friends.

O children of the Supreme,
You are not the children of the past,
But the children of the eternal Now.

Our true satisfaction
Entirely depends
On our own sincere inner cry.

Automatically you will be blessed
With gratitude.

We go neither forward nor backward;
We remain a stagnant pool.

To guard against depression.
Sooner than the soonest
Depression can approach us

To avoid stumbling on the stones

Our self-deception,
Our life-illumination
Speedily approaches us.

Is my God-nearness.

Is a forward step for humanity
To arrive at God’s Feet.

You do not have to go to anybody
To receive answers
To satisfy your mind.
Just enter into your higher self.
All the answers are already there.

The fragrance of spirituality
Is, indeed, the life-breath
Of universal music.

“My child, you can have as many faces
