When I place my life
In the Hand of God,
I am happy, unimaginably happy.
When I place my heart
At the Feet of God,
I am not only happy
But also perfect.

Every day
My soul begs my mind
To rise and run
With the blossoming dawn.

We cannot read the entire book of life,
We cannot.
We can only read
As many pages as we are allowed to
By our Lord Supreme.

Those who sincerely seek God
Will inevitably find God
At God’s choice Hour.

God teaches us
Only what we need to learn
And nothing more,
Nothing less.

The most immediate priority
In my life
Is my sleepless and breathless surrender
To God’s Will.

We give God a plethora of excuses
Why it is impossible for us
To love God in God’s own Way.
Poor God just smiles at us
With His Infinity’s Compassion
And Forgiveness.

O seeker, be extremely careful!
Never allow your aspiration-heart-river
To run dry
If you really need God in your life.

When I am in my mind,
I feel that God has run away.
But when I am in my heart,
I feel and clearly see
That God never runs away from me.

If we can dive deep within
On the strength of our prayers
And meditations,
We shall clearly see
That peace comes to us
From all directions.

Once, twice, even a thousand times
God has appreciated our aspiration-heart
And dedication-life,
But we feel that it is not enough.
We expect and we demand today
More Satisfaction-Smiles from God.

Love of God
Must come from within.
It can never be adequately taught
By an outer force.

For God to take human form
Is, indeed, a reality
That is far beyond
Even our sweetest dreams.

Our surrender to God
Is our prayerful and powerful
God-expansion
Inside our heart-garden.

He who has become
A victim of failure
In the inner life
Has already separated his very existence
From the boundless Love of God.

Just because
It has never happened before
That I have loved God
For God’s sake,
That does not mean
I shall never be able
To love Him in His own Way.

When I go down on my knees
And ask God for help,
He says to me
Most compassionately and affectionately,
“My child,
What have I been doing all along?”

That I am participating with the sky
In singing its freedom-songs.

Always has a free access
To God’s
Peace and Bliss-Treasures.

My old faith-friend.
I really do not need
Any other friend,
Specially not my new friend,
Self-doubt.

Each God-lover
Has entered into the world
To propagate as fast as possible,
On a large scale,
God’s Views with regard to His creation.

In only one pilgrimage,
And that pilgrimage
Is to God’s Compassion-flooded Feet.

What is surrender?
Surrender is something
In which gratitude
Can take birth.

Do give me the capacity
With my prayerful smiles
To wipe the Tears
From Your Compassion-Eye.

Spirituality
Will never be out of date
If Mother Earth always has
Even a few thousand God-lovers.

It is our outer lives
And never our inner lives
That contradict one another.
In our inner lives
We are all one,
All trying to illumine the world
And fulfil God’s Message-Light
Here on earth.

Our obedience-mind
Gets the greatest opportunity
To become one, inseparably one
With the gratitude-breath
Of our heart.

O earth-bound worldly knowledge,
Can you not see
Once and for all
That I am suffocated
By your ignorance-darkness-night?

What God has been trying to tell me
Over the years
Is that I can become
A choice and perfect instrument
Of His.

God’s Patience and Compassion-Stories
No human being on earth
Will be able to finish reading.

God does not ask a spiritual Master
To do two things.
He asks him to do only one thing:
To transform humanity’s
Ignorance-intoxicated animal nature
Into Divinity’s oneness-fulness-love.

To doubt God’s Existence-Life on earth
Is, indeed, a universal disease
Of millennia.

I am so happy when I watch
The swiftness of my mind-clouds’
Disappearance.

Why does man fail God
Again and again?
Because he enjoys
An undercurrent of deep unwillingness.

Old desires
Are bound to raise their heads
When we do not feed
Our fresh aspiration-heart-flames
Regularly.

What is temptation?
Temptation is something
That examines
My God-realisation-resolve.

Even the smallest glimmer of hope
Will definitely expedite
Our aspiration-heart-journey
Towards the destined Goal.

What is unwillingness?
Unwillingness is something
That not only delays but also slays
Our God-aspiration, God-realisation
And God-manifestation-need.

My Lord, my Lord,
Save me, save me
From brooding doubts!
My doubts have compelled me
To be on the verge of self-extinction.

Every day, without fail,
Early in the morning,
God invites His chosen instruments
To go for a joy-ride in His Heart-Boat.
Alas, even His choice instruments
Often fail to obey Him.

Only when I live inside my heart
Does God teach me
His never-ageing
Oneness-Fulness-Song.

Am I blind?
Why can I not see
That my Lord Supreme
Is piloting my life-boat
To His choice Destination:
The oneness and fulness
Of humanity’s divinity?

My heart,
You do have the authority
To reclaim your capacity
To inspire mankind.

My mind’s disobedience
And my mind’s resistance
Can never see the danger signs
All around me.

I have written my Lord Supreme
A ten-page letter
Explaining why I fail again and again
To please Him in His own Way.
To my wide astonishment,
I see that God
Holds nothing against me.
He just smiles and smiles.

What is the mind’s wisdom?
It is nothing other than
A volley of follies
In our life.

Unless our God-aspiration
And God-fulfilment-prayers
Become extremely powerful,
We are bound to see
That our shortcomings
Are overpowering us.

God and God’s Forgiveness
Are always ready
To empty us of all our sorrows,
But our receptivity is never ready.

Alas, our demanding
And self-aggrandising vital
Fails to see
That it is heading towards
Self-destruction.

My Lord,
You are Your Compassion-Eye;
You are Your Forgiveness-Feet.
Therefore,
Even before I could search for You,
You have come to me.

There can be no sweeter inner music
Than my soulful, cheerful surrender
To my Lord’s Will.

It is only my self-giving life
That can and shall reach
My Lord’s Bliss-Shore.

It is humanity’s sincere aspiration
And Divinity’s sincere Concern
That link
Heaven and earth.

It is really surprising
That anything undivine in us
Is always so punctual!

Gratitude-tears and surrender-smiles
From my aspiration-heart.

God is inside
Your own flower-garden-heart.
You need look nowhere else.

We must choose everything divine,
Not only what is within our reach
But also what is far beyond our reach
At this moment.

It seems that
In each human being
Faith is yet in its infancy.

The day I do not aspire,
I just fall
Into the sea of desires.

When I am in my deep meditation,

The whispering Heart
Of my Lord Supreme.

All men are truth-seekers.
All men are God-lovers.
All men are God-worshippers.
This sublime truth
Today they do not know,
But tomorrow they will.
They must!

That I can please You
Anytime I want to,
Whereas I cannot please any human being
No matter how hard I try?

Every morning I observe
A serious conflict
Between the aspiring man in me
And the desiring man in me.

My Lord,
I never want to have a heart
Empty of aspiration-cries.

Every day I lose
In the battlefield of life
In my fight against ignorance-night.
Again, every night I watch
The rising of hope-moon
Inside my heart.

O my mind,
O my vital,
O my body,
God’s Door is wide open.
Where are you?
Come, come — just come in!

There was a time
When I used to shop on a regular basis
At my mind’s confusion-store.
But now I only move around
Inside my heart-garden.

If you want to liberate yourself
From the meshes of ignorance,
Never, never hesitate
To meditate.

I never knew
That God was an old friend of mine.
What is more,
He has always been
My only true friend.

My Lord, You have blessed me
With many capacities.
Do grant me one more capacity:
The capacity to stamp out
Disobedience-night
From my mind.

What has changed my life
Totally?
Just a sorrowful glance
From my Master.

What I am doing now.
I am enjoying the farewell speech
Of my ignorance-night.

God is not interested
In what mankind thinks.
He only wants mankind to believe in
What it is going to become eventually:
A supremely choice instrument of God.

A ceaseless God-obedience-life
Is an infinite waterfall
Of God’s Delight.

Every morning God comes to me
To bless me,
And I never let Him leave me
With empty Hands.
I give Him the beauty
Of my heart-cries.

My Lord tells me
That since He is not tired of listening,
I can continue telling Him
All the grievances I have
Against humanity.

Yesterday God asked me
To purify my mind.
Today He is asking me
To simplify my life.
Tomorrow He will ask me
To beautify my heart.

Although my dissatisfied mind
And dissatisfied vital
Quite often disagree,
Unfortunately
They often work together.

For humanity’s total
God-manifestation-commitment.

Self-doubt
Is a most serious obstacle
To God-aspiration, God-realisation
And God-manifestation.

God has already planned my future
In every detail.
Therefore, for me
There is nothing to worry about.

Only a doubting mind
Does not want to make friends
With God
To make itself happy.

Two most significant things
The mind does not know:
What to love
And how to love.

My doubting mind
Does not bother God.
It is my unwilling heart
That bothers God,
For God expects everything positive
In abundant measure

My Lord, I have forgotten
What I started out to say.
“My child, never mind!
Only remember
That I am truly and sleeplessly for you.”

In spite of all my attempts
To shake off lethargy
From my life,
I am nowhere near success.

My doubting mind
Does not know
Whether peace exists
At all.

There can be
No exemption
From my God-manifestation-responsibility.

No matter how hard
The doubting mind tries
To oust
My loving faith in God,
It will always fail.

Two things only are indispensable
In my life:
My God-obedience-mind
And my God-surrender-heart.

Poor God!
Every day He suffers and suffers
When He reads
Mother Earth’s newspapers.

I am so happy and proud to know
That my heart-temple is blessed
By God’s Peace
And God’s Delight.

Alas, I do not know
Why my mind and my heart
Have to remain always
Polar opposites.

I am falling!

To receive God
Every morning,
For His Visit is not only swift
But also brief.

Blessingfully, warmly and proudly

Alas, I do not know how long
My Lord Beloved Supreme
Will have to wait
To see my mind swimming
In the beauty and fragrance
Of silence-sea.

Surrender everything
To God’s Compassion-Eye
If you want to liberate yourself
From the tyranny of obligations.

The doubting mind
Deserves to be punished by God.
The aspiring heart
Deserves to be embraced by God.
