Idleness: the loneliest existence in the entire world

Return to the table of contents

1.

Idleness is
The lover of death.

2.

Idleness is
The host of death.

3.

Idleness is
The death-night-distributor.

4.

O idleness,
You are evil
From the sole of your foot
To the crown of your head.

5.

Idleness,
You torpedo
God's Dream-Boat.

6.

Idleness,
You ruthlessly compel
Life-energy to starve.

7.

Idleness,
You desire the stars in the sky
To be at your beck and call.

8.

Idleness,
You are the mind-butcher,
You are the heart-puncher,
You are the vital-crusher,
You are the body-undertaker.

9.

Idleness,
You are arrogant within,
Abhorrent without.

10.

Idleness,
You do nothing for the world,
Yet you secretly and openly desire
World-attention, world-appreciation,
World-admiration and even
World-adoration!

11.

Idleness,
You want everything
For the asking
Inside your empty
Body-hole.

12.

Idleness,
Your inner life, if you have any,
Is all sadness.
Your outer life, if you have any,
Is all bitterness.

13.

Idleness,
To our wide surprise,
Futility-luxury
You can always afford.

14.

Idleness,
You constantly ask time
Not to look at you.

15.

Idleness,
Time does not want
To be snubbed by you.
Therefore,
It does not approach you.

16.

Idleness,
You are absolutely certain
That doomsday will never be able
To strike you.

17.

Idleness,
Your eyes do not even
Try to hide
Their envy-look.

18.

Idleness,
When are you going to realise
That yours is the loneliest existence
In the entire world?

19.

Idleness,
In stupidity
Nobody can equal you.
You do not care
To cross the finish line.
Not only that,
You do not even care
To be at the starting line.

20.

Idleness,
While voraciously eating,
You complacently hear
Others' victory-horn.

21.

Idleness,
Your beyond-repair brain
Is adorning the abysmal abyss!

22.

Idleness,
You are at once
Frustration-reservoir
And frustration-generator.

23.

Idleness,
You are a slow poison-enjoyer.

24.

Idleness,
You do not want to be
An aspiration-student,
But you do want to be
A God-realisation-professor!

25.

Idleness,
You have taken the surrender-way
To self-annihilation
And not self-perfection.

26.

Idleness,
In vain
The unconditional affection-world
Tries to please you.
In vain
The unconditional dedication-world
Tries to please you.

27.

Idleness,
Secretly you treasure,
Openly you treasure
Displeasure-breath.

28.

Idleness,
Yesterday I saw you mumbling.
Today I am seeing you fumbling.
Tomorrow I shall see you crumbling!

29.

Idleness,
You want the whole world
To love you.
Without being loveable,
How can you be loved?
Can you not see that the world
Hesitates for a very long time
Before it condescends
To love you?

30.

Idleness,
Unless and until
You seriously and fearlessly
Look at yourself,
Your happiness-dream
Will always remain
A far cry.

31.

Idleness,
Can you not see
That your joyless and godless days
Have neither a beginning
Nor an end?

32.

Idleness,
You do not value
God's Concern.
You do not value
God's Compassion.
You do not even value
God's Forgiveness.
You just value your mind's
Happiness-hallucination.

33.

Idleness,
When will you be aware
Of the undeniable fact
That unawareness
Has befriended you,
Unwillingness
Has befriended you
And, in a broad sense,
Stupidity and futility both
Have inescapably
Befriended you?

34.

Idleness,
Time is our master.
Our aspiration, dedication,
Self-giving-everything-
We have surrendered
To the eye of time.
But you want time
To helplessly surrender
To your every whim!

35.

Idleness,
Who else is an inevitable victim
Of self-doubt,
If not you?

36.

Idleness,
An insatiable hunger you have
For world-praise.
But you want to do nothing,
Absolutely nothing,
For the world.

37.

Idleness,
Strangely enough,
Quite often you are enamoured
Of what you have
And what you are.
What you have
Is nothing short of stupidity,
And what you are
Is nothing short of futility.

38.

Idleness,
A seeker devotedly enjoys
A full-time God-job.
You enjoy a full-time
Self-indulgence-job.

39.

Idleness,
Never do you want
To please God.
Never do you want
To love God.
Never do you want
To serve and fulfil God
In God's own Way.
Therefore, it is no wonder
That your mind is bound by sin
And your heart is bound by guilt!

40.

Idleness,
Are you not afraid of
God's Silence-Thunder-Eye,
As we all are?

41.

Idleness,
When God asks you
To do something,
You always ask God
To show you how to do it.
While He is showing you
How to do it,
You purposely fall into
And enjoy
A deep and never-ending sleep.

42.

Idleness,
How successfully you hide
Your outer aggression
And your inner retrogression
From us!

43.

Idleness,
Ignorance-night
Is our partial possessor,
But your full possessor.

44.

Idleness says to dynamism,
"For God's sake,
You don't have to shed tears
For me."

Dynamism says to idleness,
"My friend, it is too late!
I can't help it."

45.

Idleness says to dynamism,
"Why do you so peculiarly
Look at me?
Do you think I am
Deplorably pathetic?"

Dynamism says to idleness,
"Unfortunately,
You are absolutely right.
But do not worry.
I am sleeplessly and unconditionally
Sympathetic."

46.

Dynamism says to idleness,
"Wake up!
Stand up!
Walk up and down!
When are you going to be wise?"

Idleness says to dynamism,
"Shut up, shut up!
Slow down, slow down!
When are you going to be careful?"

47.

Idleness says to dynamism,
"Let us bury our past criticisms
Once and for all.
I do not want to remain
Shattered by my fate's blow
Anymore."

48.

Dynamism says to idleness,
"My friend, my dear friend,
My oneness-friend,
Do not build towers
Without a foundation
Anymore.
Do not trust tomorrow.
Tomorrow is an old and expert
Deceiver.
It is high time for you
To leave the land
Of self-made fools.
Happily look every morning
At the rising sun.
Hope, without fail,
Will be your guardian angel.
God is showering upon you
His Heaven-Heart-Forgiveness-Blossoms.
Just place yourself at His Feet
With your mind's prayerful readiness,
Your heart's soulful willingness
And your life's cheerful eagerness."
