O my Eternity’s friend,
Please, please give me a hint:
Who am I?
What am I?

My soul is always right
When it talks about oneness-delight.
My heart is always right
When it talks about love-light.
My mind is always wrong
When it talks about others’ confusion.
My vital is always wrong
When it talks about others’ destruction.

What I see in you
Is a sea of fear.
What you see in me
Is a sea of doubt.
What can we do?
We must free ourselves
From the earth-bound desire-life
To free ourselves
From teeming doubts and teeming fears.

Because you are suffering
From the insecurity-illness,
You will not be able to enjoy
The beauty of progress-light.

Even God the Compassion
Does not want to guide
The unwilling.

Wherever I go,
My soul’s reality-friend
And my heart’s dream-friend
Accompany me.

The disputes of clever minds
Can never be solved
Even by wise hearts,
For clever minds
Never, never want to be illumined
By the light of the heart.

Do you want to relay
God’s Message?
Then You must always live
In God’s all-loving
Compassion-Eye.

At long last
Your passport to ignorance-land
Has expired.
Therefore, my pride in you
And God’s Confidence in you
Will remain forever unparalleled.

Live in the delight
Of the soul.
You will not be able to hear
Death’s call.

The insecurity-mind
And the jealousy-vital
Are extremely fond of each other.
They have developed
An inseparable friendship.

I can never catch my Lord Supreme
Withdrawing
From His Compassion-Eye
And His Forgiveness-Heart.

If you mistake ignorance
For innocence,
Then how can you expect God
To present you
With His celestial Awards?

Although your earth-bound life
Has an indolent body,
Do not forget
That your Heaven-free life
Has a redolent soul.

Heaven wants to open
A Satisfaction-Branch
Here
On this dissatisfaction-earth.

Each breath asks me
The same question:
Will I ever be able to please God
Unconditionally
In His own Way?

Unless and until you move
Out of the doubt-neighbourhood,
God will not appear
Before you
And will not introduce Himself
To you.

When your uncomely thought-waves
Subside,
Yours will be the life
Of a fruitful God-lover
And Heaven-messenger.

Self-pity and its ancient tears
Can never be successful
In opening the door
Of satisfaction-delight.

In vain
He tries and cries
And cries and tries
To be touched
By the sunset-smile of peace.
Why does he fail?
He fails because
He deliberately ignores
The heart’s sunrise-cries.

There is a great similarity
Between you and God.
Both of you are sleepless
Hope-distributors.

If you are participating
In the surrender-drama,
Then you may try
To play the role
Of your heart’s gratitude-tears.

God does not want
His Vision’s Delight-Book
To be edited by human hands.

Your mind’s jealousy-glance
Is responsible for the injury
Of your oneness-heart.

God will forgive me
Only on one condition:
If my heart’s oneness-love
Is always ready
To increase and proceed.

You stretch your leg muscles
To give you joy.
Can you not start stretching
Your heart-muscles
To give God joy?

Conviction you have.
But this conviction
Is not being manifested.
For that, what you need
Is sleepless soul-force.

Just run the fastest!
If you get tired,
You can slow down your pace.
But if you hesitate
At the beginning of the inner race,
You will feel exhausted
Even before you start.

Your aim
Is to reach the Himalayas.
But right now if you say
That your aim is only to remain
At the foot of the Himalayas,
You will lose your vision’s height.
You will be satisfied instead
By staying inside a tiny cave
And looking at the Himalayas
From afar.

In the spiritual life
Nothing is as important
As enthusiasm.
When one loses one’s enthusiasm,
One loses everything.

He is really something!
He has learnt the supreme secret
Of tirelessly working
For the divine manifestation
Without receiving or demanding
Any outer recognition.

Yesterday he said
You were bad,
For he saw all darkness
In your face.
But today he is saying
You are good,
For he is seeing your face
Flooded with sunshine.

Some people get a bad start,
But then they run the fastest
And win the race.
Some have an excellent start,
But then they lose enthusiasm.
Who knows if they will ever
Finish the race?

When God is displeased with you,
Take it as an opportunity
To run faster.
When God is sincerely pleased
With you,
Take this, too, as a golden opportunity
To run faster than the fastest
And win the Godward race.

If I love earth’s suffering
And have established my oneness
With earth’s suffering,
Then my slowest race
Will be my best achievement.

If I love Heaven’s delight
And have established my oneness
With Heaven’s delight,
Then my fastest race
Will be my best achievement.

Unless and until
Everything is manifested
On the physical plane,
The transformation of human nature
Will not be complete.

My earth-bound life
Is fleeting.
But inside me is another life —
My Heaven-free life —
And that Heaven-free life
Is immortal.

The Immortal in me
Is my God.
The Infinite in me
Is my God.
The Eternal in me
Is my God.

Where
Is my happiness?
It is inside my peace
And nowhere else.

Satisfaction
Is founded upon oneness.
If you stand first in the race,
On the strength of my oneness,
I will feel
That I have done it.

Because he meditated
In the past,
Now he has only to revise
The meditation-book
That once he knew so well.

You want to acquire power?
Then be like an arrow
And pierce the object
Of your concentration
Sooner than at once.

If you want to feed
The peace-starving humanity,
Carry only one thing with you:
A purity-heart.

What do I see in my meditation?
In my meditation I see
A larger-than-the-largest
Ocean of peace
And blue-vast sky
Inside my tinier-than-the-tiniest
Heart.

My Lord,
Do sanctify my aspiration-heart,
Do purify my desire-mind,
So that You can fulfil Yourself
In and through me
And also be supremely proud of me.

There was a time
When I wanted name and fame.
That was my human desire.
But now
I want only to manifest God
In His own Way.
Indeed, this is my divine aspiration.

Peace means satisfaction —
Satisfaction through prayer,
Through meditation
Or through surrender
To God’s Will.

In the outer life
You make great sacrifices
To build a perfect temple.
Similarly, in the inner life
You can offer daily
Your inspiration, aspiration and dedication
To make your body
A perfect temple of the Supreme.

There was a time
When I lived
Inside my Lord’s Compassion-Eye.
But now I live
Inside my Lord’s Forgiveness-Heart.

God’s Compassion ruled my life.
Therefore, I lived.
God’s Love rules my life.
Therefore, I am alive.

You cannot hurry God.
He has His own Dreams.
He has His own choice Hour.

A man with no dreams
Will have difficulty
In gaining victory
Over his human life.

How can it ever be possible
To forget the God
Whom you claim to love sleeplessly?

Your old mind and vital-roads
Have disappointed you.
Can you not try a new road,
Your heart-road,
To satisfy yourself?

Why did you make
Such a dangerous decision?
Who asked you to sign
A life-long contract
With ignorance-night?

Your earth-bound life
Is no longer in wild disorder,
For God has granted you
A silent midnight talk
With Him.

Doubt-floods have washed away
Your success-trees.
Fear-floods have washed away
Your progress-plants.

Peace
Is not only the whole truth,
But the only truth
That can satisfy God
In His own Way.

Every day, every hour,
I soulfully salute
The Captain of my heart
So that He will make my life
A choice instrument of His.

If you walk the streets of Eternity,
Then the smiles of Infinity
Cannot remain a far cry.

The mind is aware
Of only one thing:
The frightening distance to God.

The heart is conscious
Of only one thing:
The nearing distance to God.

You already have
A listening ear.
Therefore
God will before long grant you
A glistening heart.

When each man longs to live
In his happiness-house,
God grants him
His Immortality’s Oneness-Home.

No failure is final,
For God’s Compassion-Heart
Hears each failure-sigh.

If you dare to dream,
Then there shall come a time
When your life will be
Happy and perfect.

You were born beautiful.
Now can you not make your life
Supremely peaceful?

If you delay
In your perfection-search,
God will never invite you
To join in His Satisfaction-March.

Now that your heart-songs
Have reached God’s listening Ears,
God will definitely tell you
Why you have chosen this earth-planet.

Dispel
The darkness of ignorance
To hear
Truth’s clarion call.

If your heart longs
Only for the real,
Then you will be able to survive
All your mind’s impurity-attacks.

Widen your outer life,
If you want to enlighten
Your inner heart.

He met his long-forgotten Friend,
God,
Deep in the embrace of Peace.

Why do you still cherish
Your teeming doubts?
Do you not see
That they have put out
Your vision-light
And now you are blind,
Completely blind?

I know not,
And I cannot know,
How and why
God so often forgives me.

If you do not close
The eye of the mind,
Doubt-dictator
Is bound to rule your life.

My intuition-eye tells me
That there shall come a time
When the world’s wild criticism-chorus
Will forever stop.

Do not allow your heart-strings
To play any melody except one:
Oneness-melody.

Your heart’s surrender-shrine
Is the beauty unparalleled
That climbs up
To touch the core of Heaven.

Smile, smile with God
Inside your heart
When you see your life’s
Newness-dawn.

My sweet Lord,
I know that only if You come
And knock at my heart’s door,
Out of Your infinite Bounty
And unconditional Compassion,
Only then will I regain
My lost opportunity.

He wanted once again to march along
The inner path he once followed.
But alas,
A baseless fear caught him,
And he felt that perhaps
Again he would fail,
So the best thing would be
Not to even try.
Look at the height
Of his stupidity!

Encaged in my body-cave,
I am finite.
But when I go deep within,
I see that I am infinite.

By virtue of his inner capacity,
Each and every human being
Will someday become aware
Of his own Eternity,
Infinity and Immortality.

A perfect combination
Of prayer and surrender:
“Not my will, but Thine.”
“Let Thy Will be done.”

Of what use is my achievement
If I have the fear
That tomorrow
Somebody will do better than I?

You do not need
An endless prayer
To penetrate Heaven.
What you need
Is a short and soulful prayer.

When your aspiration-life
Disappears
And your desire-life
Powerfully appears,
Do not forget that
That is the proper time
For personal introspection.

You once lived in the heart
For the soul.
Alas, what has now compelled you
To join the mind-confusion-club?

In the calmness of my self-surrender
I have realised that my Beloved Supreme
Yesterday played the role
Of the Talker
And today is playing the role
Of the Doer.

Beyond my imagination!
Not only did God grant me
Illumination,
But He also remembered
My desire-life
So that He could purify it
And make it His Aspiration-Life.

My Lord,
This is my sincere prayer:
Please do not fulfil my desires.
Only manifest Yourself
In and through me.
I do not want anything from You
Except whatever You want to give.

Because you have become
Your mind’s untouchable thoughts,
God has withdrawn from you
His Heart’s snow-white Dreams.

Every day you are late
For your prayer-appointment,
Yet every day you expect God
To arrive on time with Enlightenment.

Not God the Justice,
Not God the Compassion,
But God the Forgiveness alone
Sits upon my heart’s love-throne.

When you dive
From the springboard of faith,
You see within,
You become without
God-Infinity’s Satisfaction-Delight.

Hasten your realisation-hour
And your perfection-days
If you want to become inseparably one
With God’s Manifestation-Hour.

Make friends
With the perennial Peace-Source
Deep within you.
Then you will be able to shake hands
With God’s Ecstasy-Heart.

My life’s supreme necessity
Each day blossoms
With a sea-deep hope
And a sky-vast promise.

First I say,
“The Highest in me is God.”
Then, when I realise the Highest,
I say,
“My own Highest is God.”

Do you not see?
Inside your heart
Somebody is continuously
Praying and meditating.
Can you not feel?
The divine Heartbeat
Of the Supreme Beloved
Is constantly beating within you.
