Peace: God's Heart-Home, part 2

Return to the table of contents

101.

I get peace
Not when I have the courage
To look at God's Face
But when I have the eagerness
To embrace God's Feet.

102.

My heart's burning tears
Give birth
To my life's blossoming peace.

103.

God does not want us
To repay Him
For anything that He does for us.
Our peace is all that He needs from us.

104.

If you do not see and feel
God's Blessing-Touch
At every moment,
It is impossible for you
To have peace.

105.

Peace
Is the most nourishing fruit
Of my heart's solitude.

106.

If we do not have
Peace of mind,
We may lose all our divine qualities
One after another.

107.

O my heart's peace-fragrance,
I shall cherish you
To my life's last breath.

108.

Even peace
Is not the final achievement.
The final achievement
Is constant oneness with God's Will.

109.

May my peace-heart
Every day
Have the capacity
To jump over a thousand hurdles.

110.

In the inner life,
Peace
Is God-obedience.

111.

In the outer life,
Peace
Is God-surrender.

112.

To peace
Even insurmountable obstacles
Surrender.

113.

We want everything,
But peace already has
Everything.

114.

Peace
Is all affirmation.

115.

Peace
Knows no contradiction.

116.

Peace
Is a life-game-player
Who always wins.

117.

A man who has no peace
Often thinks
That the worst is going to happen,
Either in the immediate present
Or in the distant future.

118.

A mind of peace
Is a reservoir
Of confidence.

119.

A man of peace
Is always
Young at heart.

120.

Peace
Invariably ascends
The fastest.

121.

God can be displeased
With everything and everybody,
But never with His fondest child:
Peace.

122.

Give God your peace-heart.
Lo, God has already given you
His Bliss-Eye.

123.

The peace-dictionary
Does not include the word
'Subordinate.'

124.

My mind
Is an attention-hunger.
My heart
Is a peace-meal.

125.

Peace
Is not in madness.
Peace
Is not in sadness.
Peace
Is only in selflessness.

126.

Where is my peace?
Peace is in my hope's
Heart-temple.

127.

Peace I feel
Only when
My mind is armed
With God-obedience.

128.

My entire being
Is inundated with peace
Only when my heart sits
At the doorstep of Eternity's Beyond.

129.

If you want peace-abundance,
Never disobey your conscience.

130.

If you want peace-abundance,
Never contradict the wisdom-light
Of your soul.

131.

When you have peace of mind,
You will become certain
That God is not only in Heaven
But also on earth.

132.

My heart-cry embodies
Peace.
My soul-smiles reveal
Peace.

133.

If my surrender to God
Does not become
One hundred per cent complete,
How can I, alas, have peace?

134.

O my mind,
How can you ever have peace
If you are always racing
Through barren and fruitless days?

135.

If God wants to bless you
With His Peace,
Then He can easily bring you
Out of the abyss
Of your mind's chaos.

136.

God's Eye is misty
With Compassion-Tears
Because I do not value
His Heart's Oneness-Peace.

137.

Peace
Is spirituality's
God-Pride-Crown.

138.

The heart of God's Delight-Sky
Every day invites, without fail,
A man of peace.

139.

Peace-dream
My earth-bound mind was.
Peace-reality
My Heaven-free heart is.

140.

O my mind,
How can you have peace
When you deliberately betray
Your own inner life?

141.

Every day I get peace
In abundant measure
From the sweetness
Of my heart-dreams.

142.

Tolerance is not peace,
But from tolerance,
In the near or distant future,
Peace may blossom.

143.

Your implicit faith
In your heart's peace
Will definitely save you
From the assaults of doubt-storms.

144.

Fastest is the peace of my soul
At clearing the progress-horizon
Of my mind's doubts
And my heart's fears.

145.

When my heart does not have
An iota of peace,
I feel that I am living
In the wrong place
At the wrong time.

146.

Peace
Is my mind's Heaven-beauty.
Peace
Is my heart's earth-fragrance.

147.

Peace
Illumines our
Division-limitation-darkness.

148.

Your division-mind
Is the wrong place
For you to search for peace.

149.

Your union-heart
Is the right place
Not only to look for
But also to find your Himalayan peace.

150.

Doubt chases peace
In vain.

151.

Peace
Amazes doubt
At every moment.

152.

No matter how powerful the hand is,
It cannot hold peace.
But a loving and self-giving heart
Has and is peace.

153.

Peace
Is not to be found
In the mind's pronouncement.
Peace
Is found only
In the heart's enlightenment.

154.

Peace
Does not command.
Peace
Does not demand.
Peace
Does not reject.
Peace
Does not expect.
Peace
Only injects God-Wisdom.

155.

A heart of peace
Can never be marred
By the mind's
Continuous inconsistencies.

156.

O world of division,
Once peace is victorious,
It will not only outlive everything
But also eternally live.

157.

Peace may not be
In today's crying life,
But peace will definitely be
In tomorrow's smiling heart.

158.

Peace
Opens up the first door
To every human hope.

159.

The reasoning mind
In vain tries to oust
The aspiring heart
From the peace-temple.

160.

Everybody has at least one question
For God,
But peace neither has one
Nor needs one.

161.

God
Sleeplessly values peace.
Peace
Breathlessly treasures God.

162.

Peace
Silences the nightmares of the mind.
Peace
Feeds the dreams of the heart.

163.

A man of peace
Is constantly ready
To go to all corners of the globe
For God-manifestation.

164.

A man with no peace
Is, indeed,
A self-contradiction-champion.

165.

O my peace-empty mind,
What are you doing?
"Can you not see
What I am doing?
I am just rushing headlong
Into the arms
Of my own self-destruction!"

166.

The peace-boat of the heart
Never fails.
It only sails and sails
Towards our own divinity's
Immortality-flooded destination.

167.

Intellectual competitors
Do not win
Peace-trophies.

168.

Neither pull down
Nor pull up.
Peace will claim you.

169.

God the Smiler
Gives me peace.
God the Sufferer
Takes away my peace.

170.

Do not think of
Past blunders.
Do not imagine
Unlit future roads.
You are bound to have peace.

171.

Peace
Is at once
The shortest road
And the longest stride
To arrive at
Our God-destination.

172.

I received peace
Infinitely more than I expected
From my God-surrender-studies.

173.

God has many intimate assistants,
But peace is by far
His most intimate assistant.

174.

My heart becomes
Completely peaceful
When I see my Lord Supreme
Preparing to sail His Boat.

175.

God cannot believe
That man has no real hunger
For peace.

176.

I am peaceful
When God gives me
What I want.
God is peaceful
When He gives me
What I need.

177.

A cave
Has no peace.
Even a grave
Has no peace.
But God-surrender-courage
Has and is peace.

178.

The division-mind
Is responsible for
The heart's peace-bankruptcy.

179.

I derive no peace
From a mountain-height-dream,
But I do derive peace
From a fountain-spontaneity-reality.

180.

Peace you want?
Then pray to God
Not for escape
But for shelter.

181.

Twice I am most sublimely peaceful:
Once when God is
My heart-home-guest,
Once when I find myself
In God's Compassion-Smile-Nest.

182.

Peace of mind
Expands
Our heart's God-Dream-horizons.

183.

Because of my peace of mind,
Every day I bow to God
With my heart's gratitude-tears.

184.

I have peace of mind
Exactly because
I have said a final farewell
To the life I used to live.

185.

God-surrender is the soil
Where the bumper crop of peace
Grows.

186.

When I have peace of mind,
My Lord shares with me
His secret and sacred
Sorrows and Joys.

187.

My peace
Is my rare expedition
To God's Paradise-Smile.

188.

My Lord,
How can I have an iota of peace,
Since I am not ready
To accept the world as it is?

189.

He who has peace
Pacifies others.

190.

Nothing astonishes God
As much as my lack of hunger
For peace.

191.

Peace
Has always been
A plant of slowest growth.

192.

I belong
To God's Smile,
And God belongs
To my peace.

193.

My soul's peace
Can easily transform
My mind's commotion and emotion
Into
My heart's devotion and perfection.

194.

When I was empty of peace,
I thought God was ignoring me.
But now, I do not.

195.

Once we capture
And give a life-long sentence to
Our ego-thief,
We enjoy peace in abundance.

196.

No matter how high
My mind's imperfection-hurdles,
My heart's peace
Can easily jump over.

197.

My heart's peace
And my life's freedom
Are divinely and supremely
Inseparable.

198.

When I have peace,
What I enjoy most
Is my heart's
God-devotion-sweetness.

199.

From the heart's peace-garden
Supremacy is always excluded.

200.

God Himself
Rings His Peace-Bell
Inside my heart's
God-surrender-temple.
