No Entry for the Wife

When I was introduced at the US National Senior Olympics, the keynote speaker asked me how it was possible for me to lift 7,000 pounds. I said, "It is not my physical strength. It is all from Above. It is God's Grace that enables me to lift up such heavy weights."

Then the speaker jokingly pointed to his wife and said, "She is not even two hundred pounds, but I cannot lift her!"

The unfortunate thing is that his wife had wanted to come and be seated near her husband, among the distinguished guests. But because of limited seats, only the distinguished guests were allowed. The main speaker was a great man, and yet his wife was not allowed to come up to the stage! I felt very sad for her.

It was so nice of the organisers of the Senior Olympics to announce our Peace Concert that evening. Because of the announcement, more than seven hundred people came. They were very nice and receptive.
