Today's One-Mile Race
During this morning's one-mile race, I enjoyed Shivaram's and Nirvik's performances the most. They were having their own race. Shivaram walked most of the way. Then, all of a sudden, in the last twenty metres, he started running. Poor Nirvik!Today marked the descent of my running. I have been getting better little by little — my times were 23:27, 20:12, 17:10 and 16:54. Then today I had to do 17:42. I found it hard to see properly at Iguaçu Falls. I was full of apprehension, specially during the first two rounds. I had a little fear that I would go off the course. If I could have gone faster on the first two rounds, perhaps I would again have done under 17 minutes. But what can you do?
