A Morning Compliment

Today I received a compliment from a young black man who was smoking. I was at a place that went uphill for about forty metres and where some runners were coming down the hill from the opposite direction at the same time.

As I was going up, the young man said to me, "You are doing the right thing! You are doing the right thing! You are going uphill. Look at them: they are going downhill."

After going uphill, I walked for a few metres and then I started going downhill. Luckily, he did not see me at that time!
