Saved by My Inner Beings

When I crossed the one-mile mark behind Thomas Edison High School, something within me said, "Do not walk on the street." I looked behind me and there was no car whatsoever — absolutely nothing for at least 200 metres. I said, "Now what to do?"

Then I said, "All right, since something is warning me, I will listen."

I went up on the sidewalk and continued walking. One car came from behind me along the Grand Central Service Road. Another car came from the highway. What an accident! It was only a matter of two minutes since I had started walking on the sidewalk. I could not believe it. The car from the highway dashed against the one from the Service Road. I saw the crash. What a thundering sound!

I was warned. Otherwise, I would have been walking right at the place where the accident occurred. Sometimes my inner beings ask me not to walk on the street and in this way they save me.

I continued walking and covered another 500 metres or so. Coming back, I stopped at my favourite place, at the mile and a half point: Utopia Parkway. When I turned around, I saw at that time four police cars at the scene of the accident, but I did not see anybody in the two cars.

What an experience!
