Host: Can you recall what it was for you and other Masters like yourself, how it began to become clear that the world was, indeed, ready for this and that the West was opening up? Was there some special way in which that became clear to you?

Sri Chinmoy: Yes. In my case, I will be able to say. About the other spiritual Masters, I am not competent to say anything. Each one has his own way of revealing his inner truth. In my case, in 1964, I got the inner Demand from the Supreme, His Command. He commanded me to come to the West and serve Him in the West, that is to say, to serve the Divine in the human. So, in 1964, the Supreme, my Inner Pilot, commanded me to come from India to the West and to be of service to the Western world.
