My Talk at Stony Brook University
Here in Long Island, Stony Brook, funniest thing. Savyasachi drove, and his friend Nachiketa rode with us. There I was supposed to give a talk. A Muslim, young man, was studying there. He came to listen to my talk. But when he saw me wearing a Hindu garment — there were quite a few people, about 200 people or more — he became very, very jealous of me. Then I stood up on the stage. I was about to give the talk. He came near the platform and was trying to pull me down. He did not want to hear the talk. I was a Hindu, and he was Muslim. And who saved me? His girlfriend. I did not know his girlfriend. His girlfriend was so embarrassed. She ran away. When he turned around and saw his girlfriend had left, he also left. Then I was able to give the talk. It was Stony Brook.
