Special Function Honouring Mahasamrat and Bhavatarini
//The morning of 14 June 2007, Mahasamrat Bill Pearl and his wife, Bhavatarini Judy Pearl, once again joined Sri Chinmoy and his students at a function held in their honour at the Hilton Hotel in San Diego, California. Following are excerpts from the occasion.//U Thant Peace Award Ceremony
A video is shown of U Thant as guest of honour at the premiere of Sri Chinmoy’s play about the Buddha, in 1973, followed by a video showing previous recipients. The Singers then perform Sri Chinmoy’s song dedicated to U Thant.Sri Chinmoy: You have a big heart. You have conquered my heart, and I have conquered your heart, as well. You are universal. You deserve the U Thant Peace Award more than anybody else.
Mahasamrat: Guru, to put me in this category, is ridiculous. (Laughter.)
