220. Faith and doubt

Faith is unfolded from within,
Doubt is imposed from without.

Knowledge is unfolded from within,
Ignorance is imposed from without.

A life of faith
Is a life of God-simplicity
    And
God-immensity.

A life of doubt
Is a life of Frustration-Desert
    And
Destruction-Volcano.

A life of knowledge
Is a life of Promise-Tree
    And
Progress-Fruits.

A life of ignorance
Is a life of Bondage-Crown
    And
Death-Frown.
