O my Canada,
You are very vast.
Can you not be very high, too?
Try, you can.

O my Canada,
Why do you always follow?
Can you not lead from now on?
Try, you can.

O my Canada,
You think the world does not admire you.
Can you not demand the world’s admiration?
Try, you can.
You certainly can.
