48. FOR THE TIME BEING
For the time beingI shall think only of God,
Since He has promised me that
He will make me happy.
For the time being
I shall love only man,
Since I have promised man that
I shall make him happy.
For the time being
I shall adore only Heaven,
Since Heaven sincerely cares for me.
For the time being
I shall bless only earth,
Since earth always longs for me.
