You renounced
Your wild animosity;
    Therefore
Heaven is unmistakably proud of you.

    Today
You have renounced
Your blind stupidity;
    Therefore
Earth is divinely proud of you.

    Tomorrow
You will renounce
Your proud necessity;
    Therefore
Both God and I
Will be supremely proud of you.
