Editor’s notes
1.
Sri ChinmoyWhile standing there
Is at once vulnerable and invulnerable.
Vulnerable to receive
The aspiration of his devoted adherents.
Invulnerable by his purity
While weeding our souls.
    Sri Chinmoy
Is the voyager who has come from God...
And by his eyes tells us about the God within us.
His sound is from the voice of the reed.
It seems to come from very far off...
The defined edge of his universe.
He gives form to invisible inspiration
Which through him finds manifestation.
His blessing His touch
The emanations from his body
Cast off colors of the astral infinite
And resound off the ground he carefully walks on.
He takes care to awaken the soul
Gently
Like thunder from the distance which promises rain
To the parched earth.
We who have waited Greet Guru
And ask if we may come in.
