I write on behalf of the Secretary-General to thank you for your kind letter of 9 June inviting him to participate in the Peace Walk’s finale on 26 June. I am afraid that the Secretary-General will be prevented by a very full programme from joining you and your colleagues for this important event.

The Secretary-General has nonetheless asked me to convey to you his best wishes in your endeavours.
