January

January 1

Arise!
Your Lord Supreme is crying for you.
Awake!
Your Lord Supreme is waiting for you in the Sea of Transcendental Consciousness.
Walk!
Your Lord Supreme is expecting your sure and safe arrival.
March!
It is you who will realise your Lord Supreme in this very life.
Run!
It is you who will fulfil your Lord Supreme in this life of yours here on earth.
Fly!
Yours is the Goal of the ever-transcending Beyond.

January 2

I came from God with God to see the Feet of His descending Grace.
I shall go from man with man to see the GOAL of his ascending face.

January 3

Love will outlive the destructive mind.
Devotion will outlive the uncertain heart.
Surrender will outlive the negative life.

January 4

Each aspirant has to be a divine soldier.
He must consciously and constantly use his divine energy to drill himself into a liberated soul.

January 5

A surrendered soul is God's dearest possession.
A transformed life is God's highest achievement.

January 6

Senses are servants.
Senses are tyrants.
Look forward and upward, your servants will obey you unconditionally.
Look backward and downward, your tyrants will torture you ruthlessly.

January 7

I thought of God.
God smiled.
I prayed to God.
God cried.
I meditated on God.
God became my real God.

January 8

Human love is a fruitless temptation in transit.
Divine Love is the Life of Eternity that enters into the Breath of Infinity.

January 9

Since I have no love to give, I give You, O God, what I have: my teeming doubts.
Since I have no devotion to give, I give You, O God, what I have: my flowing ignorance.
Since I have no surrender to give, I give You, O God, what I have: my sinking breath.

January 10

According to one's fulfilment of aspiration, each human being is a tremendous success.
According to one's manifestation of realisation, each human being is a deplorable failure.

January 11

The renaissance of our body is the offering of our life's capacity to the world.
The renaissance of our vital is the fulfilling marriage of love and power.
The renaissance of our mind is the inner sincerity that cries to see the Face of Truth.
The renaissance of our heart is the constant devotedness to the Pilot Supreme.
The renaissance of our soul is the Breath of Paradise that grants us an Immortal Life.

January 12

Each human being can at once be a fighter and forgiver.
When self-doubt tortures him, he must play the role of a fighter.
And when his own ignorance humiliates him, he must play the role of a forgiver.

January 13

Man's heartbeat is God's purest Compassion.
God's Heartbeat is man's surest transformation.

January 14

Man's height is aspiration.
God's depth is Compassion.
Human truth is the fulfilling duty.
Divine Truth is the fulfilled Beauty.

January 15

Let us serve the world soulfully.
The pay we will receive for our service will be in the currency of gratitude, God's gratitude, God the only gratitude.

January 16

Cry within, dive within!
The pendulum of your life will in no time swing from the night of fruitless dream to the Light of fruitful Reality.

January 17

No perfected man is less great than perfection itself.

January 18

Life is the purposeful design of God.
Inspiration is the hopeful design of God.
Aspiration is the truthful design of God.
Realisation is the fruitful design of God.
Revelation is the perfect design of God.
Manifestation is the sempiternally perfect design of God.

January 19

It matters not how Truth was created, but why Truth was created.
Truth was created by God Himself to energise His Vision and to manifest His Reality.

January 20

Earth wants you to be great.
Heaven wants you to be good.
God wants you to be spontaneously genuine.
When you become great, you will realise how insignificant you are.
When you become good, you will realise how false your life is.
When you become spontaneously genuine, your life grows into God's perfect perfection.

January 21

Mind forgets
    but
never forgives.

Heart forgives
    but
never forgets.

Soul forgives
    and
forgets
    all at once.

January 22

If you live in the body, you will be too weak to repress anything.
If you live in the vital, you will be too authoritarian to allow anything.
If you live in the mind, you will be too indifferent to love anything.
If you live in the heart, you will be too indulgent to control anything.
Live in the soul, God will say, I do and become everything for you.

January 23

I cannot create Truth.
But I can discover Truth.
I cannot create Love.
But I can discover Love.

I cannot discover Aspiration.
But I can create Aspiration.
I cannot discover Perfection.
But I can create Perfection.

January 24

The love that commands soulfully and the love that obeys unconditionally enjoy the selfsame Bliss of the Supreme.

January 25

Love and fear are incompatible.
Devotion and doubt are incompatible.
Surrender and failure are incompatible.

January 26

To listen to one's Master constantly is to see clearly the head of aspiration, the heart of realisation and the soul of absolute perfection.

January 27

Truth is not behind me, but before me.
Realisation is within, and not without.
Death is behind me, and not before me.
Transformation stands before me, and not behind me.

January 28

In our human nature WHEN
    imperfection seen
    perfection awakened
    divinity invoked
    reality realised.

January 29

Since God does not want to enjoy His Transcendental Delight always and everywhere, He has graciously granted liberation to some souls so that they can enjoy His Transcendental Delight.
Rest assured, God will grant liberation to many more today and tomorrow to the rest of mankind.

January 30

If you do not deceive yourself, your liberation is certain.
If you do not find faults with yourself, your liberation is certain.
If you can make your heart the cow of love, your body the dog of devotion, and your mind the deer of surrender, your liberation is absolutely certain.

January 31

Nothing is effective and certain, but the heart of love.
Nothing is safe and certain, but the life of devotion.
Nothing is fulfilling and certain, but the soul of surrender.

February

February 1

A supremely realised man is the result of the earth's secret concern and Heaven's special care.

February 2

He conquers who loves.
He loves who feels.
He feels who sacrifices.
He sacrifices who aspires.
He aspires who serves God in man.

February 3

After you have enjoyed your life your name becomes frustration.
After you have employed your life your name becomes realisation.

February 4

To know the value of love is to buy the Kingdom of Delight.
To know the value of Delight is to buy back one's own True Self.

February 5

The animal in us wants destruction.
The human in us wants education.
The divine in us wants illumination.

February 6

Freedom is not in creating...
Freedom is not in destroying...
Freedom is not even in loving...
Freedom is only in growing into the very image of God.

February 7

Men of capacity the world needs.
Men of receptivity God needs.

February 8

If you want God, open your heart and run.
If God wants you, open your eyes, close your ears and run.

February 9

To love man is my only duty.
To love God is my only necessity.
To become God the Dream is my only certainty.
To become God the Reality is my only inevitability.

February 10

Veracity is expensive.

Mendacity is explosive.

Veracity grows by inches and does not die.
Mendacity grows by miles and dies by miles.

February 11

Earth cries to marry the beauty of love.
Heaven cries to marry the revelation of perfection.

February 12

Life is powerless against love.
Love is powerless against truth.
Truth is powerless against compassion.

February 13

The absence of temptation is the presence of resistance.
The movement of inner resistance is the moment of God.

February 14

I hate ignorance not because it stays with me, but because it does not care for God's transforming and fulfilling Light.

February 15

When your friends say that you are the greatest aspirant, be sure to correct and perfect them.
When your enemies say that you are the lowest aspirant, don't hesitate to correct and perfect yourself.
Remember, in either case you are not the loser.
In your own perfection your enemies do not derive any benefit.
When you make your friends perfect to assess you properly you don't lose anything.
Be correct and perfect; you will be able to fulfil God in you.
Correct and perfect others, you will fulfil them in God.

February 16

What the poet in me has is inspiration.
What the seeker in me has is aspiration.
What the man in me has and always needs is God's constant Compassion.

February 17

Truth is to give God His own.
Joy is to give Heaven its own.
Fear is to give earth its own.
Love is to give me my own.

February 18

When I touch the heart of the world, the world gives me its hands.
When I use the hands of the world, God smilingly sits on my shoulders and places the world inside His very Heart.

February 19

Difficulties consciously tell an unaspiring soul what he is.
Difficulties unconsciously show an aspiring soul what he eventually can be.

February 20

The mightiest Power is the highest Compassion.
This highest Compassion is at once God the Quality and God the Quantity.
To realise God one needs God the Quality.
To help the world realise God one needs God the Quantity.

February 21

A man thinks that he is always brave.
A woman thinks that she is always pure.
A fool thinks that he is always right.
God knows that He is always the servant of the aspirant's surrendered love.

February 22

Falsehood is jealous of truth.
Truth is ashamed of falsehood.
God blesses falsehood to be good.
God caresses truth to be nice.

February 23

God exists.
We don't have to invent Him.
Our mouth at least dares to prove God's existence.
But alas, peace does not exist on earth.
Let us try to invent peace.

February 24

There is a God in science.
There is a God in spirituality.
These two Gods are one and the same.
The God in science constantly expands His capacity.
The God in spirituality constantly transcends His capacity.

February 25

To complete His Joy,
    from above
God looks at man
    with His
descending Compassion.

To complete his joy,
    from below
man looks at God
    with his
ascending determination.

February 26

He who conquers the Truth has been chosen by God's Heart, God the Heart.

February 27

To define God is to confine God.
To fear God is to tear God.

February 28

My ability
    needs
    stability
    for my perfection.

My stability
    needs
    ability
    for my realisation.

March

March 1

I have measured my life.
It is too long.
I have lived my life.
It is too short.
While measuring I have realised myself.
While living I have fulfilled myself.

March 2

A seeker's struggling mind needs the right path.
A seeker's searching heart needs the right teacher.
A seeker's aspiring soul needs the right God.

March 3

The right path is simplicity
    plus
    purity.
The right teacher is sincerity
    plus
    spontaneity.
The right God is Compassion
    plus
    Liberation.

March 4

The tree of life can never be separated from the tree of love.
The tree of love can never be separated from the tree of realisation.
The tree of realisation can never be separated from the tree of transcendental perfection.

March 5

Love favours the devoted heart.
Grace favours the surrendered soul.

March 6

Anger is ink spilt and thrown over one's graceful heart of sweetness.

March 7

An act of sweet pardon helps me to be really brave.
An act of anger helps me to see my own grave dug by me alone.

March 8

Perhaps the universe is not rich enough to buy a man who is absolutely free from the snare of anger.

March 9

Human life is always given strength to fly the kite of hope.

March 10

Just feel that God is not yours, but you are God's; only then you discover that no hope of yours is ever dashed to the ground in frustration.

March 11

Life hesitates to shake hands with All-Possibility.
Hope says to life: "Mother, fear not, I am everlastingly with you."

March 12

Hope finds its true fulfilment only upon earth.
Heaven at most nourishes it, Hell simply kills it.

March 13

Fear ruins man.
A fearful man spoils his mission.
Ruined mission destroys God's Vision.
Fruitless Vision thwarts God's Will.
Unfulfilled Will nullifies God's very purpose of existence.

March 14

When your fear ceases for good, you see not only freedom but also become an embodiment of eternal freedom.

March 15

Religion and philosophy fulfil and are complementary to each other.
Religion without philosophy is brainless.
Philosophy without religion is heartless.

March 16

My prose is my mind.
My poetry is my heart.
Without my mind I am lame.
Without my heart I am blind.

March 17

Life is my outer evolution.
Truth is my inner revolution.

March 18

Love mankind.
This is an instruction of God.
Love truth.
This is the instruction of God.
Grow into the silence-height and the manifestation-light.
This is the only instruction of God.

March 19

What my mind has is limited learned knowledge.
What I am is an unlimited source of light.

March 20

Mind preaches more than it actually teaches.
Heart teaches more than it usually preaches.
The soul neither preaches nor teaches.
It only learns.
It learns the meaning of creation from God Himself.

March 21

To conceal one's own ability is no virtue.
To reveal one's own ability is no crime.
Not to fulfil God's Will on earth is the clear indication of the death of virtue and the undeniable birth of crime in one's life of aspiration.

March 22

Absence is love.
Presence is joy.
Love serves God unconditionally.
Joy fulfils God sempiternally.

March 23

My consecration is my aspiration.
My aspiration is my realisation.
My realisation is my transformation.
My transformation is my perfection.
My perfection is God the manifested Vision of His Beyond on earth.

March 24

Sincerity is to be judged by its intentions and not by its results.
Beauty is to be judged by its results and not by its intentions.

March 25

Doubt is more to be disliked than death.
Why?
Because when you doubt yourself or God, it is the real beginning of your hastening end.

March 26

Concentration makes us perceptive.
Meditation makes us receptive.
Contemplation makes us intuitive.

March 27

Each inner experience is God's descending Compassion and man's glowing and fulfilling transformation.

March 28

The Love divine crucifies human suspicion.
It perfects the seeker's aspiration.
It reveals the realised soul's liberation.

March 29

I do not want to hide my age.
My age is my breath.
Thousands of times my breath has been purified by God the Purifier and saved by God the Saviour.
Lo, God the Liberator is entering into my breath.
Since my fulfilling and fulfilled breath is my aspiring age, I have not to hide my age.
My age is God the eternal Grace.

March 30

They say that old age is an unavoidable, incurable and unpardonable disease.
I think it is true.
But what I feel infinitely more true is that there is and there can be no such thing as old age when one wants to live the life of aspiration.
For God the eternal Child abides and grows eternally in the heart of human aspiration.

March 31

When I concentrate, I care about God.
When I meditate, God cares about me.
When I contemplate, my perfected inner wisdom cares about God, and God's infinite ocean of Light cares about me.

April

April 1

Optimism is the secret of self-reliance.
Self-reliance is the secret of a dynamic power.
A dynamic power is the secret of an immediate success.

April 2

The difference between an optimist and a pessimist is this: an optimist sees the sun behind the blackest clouds; a pessimist sees the brightest noon as midnight.

April 3

Unfortunately the eye of fear has a free access to God's entire creation.
Fortunately the heart of courage also has a free access to God's entire creation.

April 4

Each thought is either a gain or a loss.
Each second is either a gain or a loss.
Each experience is either a gain or a loss.
And gain is gain; loss is loss, however insignificant.

April 5

God the Father is the Dreamer.
God the Mother is the Schemer.
God the Son is the Revealer.
God the Grandson is the Fulfiller.

April 6

I know from within that my knowledge is illumination.
I know from without that my knowledge is hallucination.
I know from Above that my knowledge is salvation.
I know from below that my knowledge is destruction.

April 7

Oh Atheist!
You are going somewhere despite your repeated denials.
You are seeing something despite your constant denials.
You are becoming someone despite your spontaneous denials.

April 8

Oh Aspirant!
Your heart's cry is a real treasure.
Do not allow your obscure, unlit, discouraging and damaging vital to make light of it.
Your heart's cry flies like an eagle to reach the Highest Goal of your purest soul.

April 9

Cry within.
Meditate within.
Dive within.
Your inner achievements will far outweigh your outer imperfections.

April 10

When aspiration gives you her dedicated heart, you will have something of everything in the inner world to treasure forever.

April 11

When you know the meaning of aspiration, and the value of dedication, then what is left for you is to know how to eat the fruit of realisation.

April 12

How to conquer jealousy?
Conceal it consciously.
To your wide surprise, one day you will not be able to trace it at all.
It will all be gone, a story of the past.

April 13

How to conquer worry?
Ignore it deliberately.
To be sure, worry also has its own pride.
It will ignore you totally.
It will feel that it is beneath its dignity to come to you and offer all its problems and responsibilities.

April 14

How to conquer fear?
Sit at the feet of your illumining consciousness-light.
This light has the adamantine will-power to protect you, perfect you and liberate you.

April 15

How to conquer doubt?
Observe the vow of inner silence; do inner meditation and inner selfless service.
Your doubt will have no strength to shout at you.
It has to die and it will; for good.

April 16

How to conquer ego?
Start chasing your ego, the thief, early in the morning.
In the evening you will be able to catch it.
Once you catch it, cut it into pieces with your naked inner sword of universal oneness.

April 17

How to conquer pride?
Early in the morning think a few times of the ones who are infinitely superior to you in Love and Power.
In the evening try to feel that you are sleeping in the lap of the Supreme's Supreme Love.

April 18

How to conquer arrogance?
Try to feel that your arrogance will be paid back in its own coin.
Nay, what you used was a hand-bomb and what you will have to encounter is an atom-bomb.

April 19

How to conquer anger?
Feel the necessity of perfecting yourself.
When anger wants to enter into you, say, "I am so sorry.
I eat only one food.
The name of my food is Peace.
I won't be able to digest you.
If ever I eat you, I will be destroyed within and without.
I don't want to be destroyed.
I have to do much for the divinity in me and the humanity around me.
Oh Anger, you are knocking at the wrong door."

April 20

How to conquer deception?
When you deceive someone, think that you possess the capacity only to please yourself and nobody else.
Hence your capacity to achieve joy is very limited.
Your life is so meaningless that you cannot please even one person more than your tiny self in this vast world.
But if you allow the fragrance of sincerity to enter into you, it will not only please you, but please all human beings.

April 21

How to conquer despair?
Never cry for outer consolation.
Ever cry for inner compassion.
Inner compassion is the flood of light.
It is also the flood of perfection's realisation.

April 22

How to conquer bondage?
Tell your body that your name is Aspiration.
Tell your vital that your name is Determination.
Tell your mind that your name is Concentration.
Tell your heart that your name is Compassion.
Finally see eye to eye with your soul when it says that your name is Illumination.

April 23

How to conquer ignorance?
Look downward!
Now say, "My Lord, I am coming.
I am sure that You are ready to receive me with your Infinite Compassion."

Look forward!
Now say, "My Lord, I am come.
I am sure that You are ready to receive me with your Infinite Benediction."

Look upward!
Now say, "My Lord, I have come.
I am sure that You are ready to receive me with Your Infinite Realisation."

April 24

Before the realisation, the body, by virtue of its very existence on earth, helps the soul unconsciously.
After the realisation, the body serves the soul, not only consciously, but unconditionally.

April 25

Where is my mind?
My intellect and the senses know the answer.
Where is my heart?
My vital and my soul know the answer.
Where is my Goal?
The breadth of my aspiration and the length of God's Compassion know the answer.

April 26

The experience of Peace indicates the Soul's inner assertion through its fulfilling incarnations.
The experience of Bliss indicates the eternal flow of God's selfless service to his children.

April 27

To be good in a passive way is to say what I can do for humanity if I want to.
To be good in an active way is to realise the secret of secrets that I have already offered my Divinity's heart to humanity's body.

April 28

Outer pleasure and inner pressure do not cry for each other.
They soon pass away like the morning dew-drops.
Aspiration and realisation like each other.
They last forever because Infinity feeds aspiration and Immortality feeds realisation.

April 29

Perfection is man's pure inner cry on earth.
Perfection is man's sure outer smile in Heaven.

April 30

In order to be above the slavery of the senses, to lift the veil of ignorance, yesterday I needed the purity of a four-year-old child.
Today I need the sincerity of a seven-year-old child.
Tomorrow I shall need the surety of a young man of nineteen.

May

May 1

I never hesitate.
My inner confidence is my outer decision.
I never doubt.
My inner conviction is my outer success.
I never grieve.
My inner light is my outer might.

May 2

When I think of my past, I see my God, the Dreamer.
When I think of my present, I see my God, the Warrior.
When I think of my future, I see my God, the Liberator.

May 3

Today's affirmation was yesterday's preparation.
Today's affirmation will be tomorrow's emancipation.
Preparation is hopeful.
Affirmation is meaningful.
Emancipation is fruitful.

May 4

God the Poet sings and dreams.
God the Philosopher thinks and drinks.
God the Lover loves and liberates.

The Poet-God sings the Song of Beauty.
He dreams the Dream of Duty.

The Philosopher-God thinks the Thought of Height.
He drinks the Vastness of Light.

The Lover-God loves the world as it is.
He liberates the world from what it is.

May 5

To have joy is to have vision.
Joy is vision embodied and expanded.

May 6

To have love is to have reality.
Love is reality expressed and manifested.

May 7

To have faith is to have fulfilment.
Faith is fulfilment realised and revealed.

May 8

You are really clever when you take the world of desire as it is and not as it ought to be.
You are really wise when you take the world of aspiration as it ought to be and not as it is.

May 9

The body is loveless.
The vital is shameless.
The mind is faithless.
The heart is lifeless.
Nevertheless our journey is hopeful, our soul is meaningful and our goal is fruitful.
This is possible because the Supreme Pilot is within us and for us.

May 10

God is the Confidence-Light in my life divine.
God is the Assurance-Might in my life human.

May 11

How great is our God?
Our God is greater than our imagination, purer than our inspiration, swifter than our aspiration, surer than our concentration, deeper than our meditation, higher than our contemplation and wiser than our realisation.

May 12

Ignorance ends in aspiration.
Aspiration ends in realisation.
Realisation ends either in self-abnegation or in God-manifestation.

May 13

My thought is eternal.
My will is eternal.
Eternally my thought is crying and dying.
Eternally my will is braving and fulfilling.

May 14

I think ten times before I say anything about the world.
I speak everything about God before I even think of Him once.
Why do I do this?
The reason is quite simple.
God is at once my inspiration and realisation: the world is at once all suspicion and all obstruction.

May 15

My realisation is the bridge between God's limitless capacity and man's helpless incapacity, God's transforming Light and man's brooding night, God's perfect perfection and man's constant imperfection.

May 16

Talk is cheap, but not when I talk with love.
Love is cheap, but not when I express love with my sacrifice.
Sacrifice is cheap, but not when I offer sacrifice with my soul's divine oneness.

May 17

To be happy, you don't have to go high.
Just start counting God's inner blessings.
To be unhappy, you don't have to go down.
Just start counting your outer achievements.

May 18

Before the Realisation, I the ignorance felt that God was my tireless expense.
After the Realisation, I the Knowledge feel that I am God's eternal expense.

May 19

Think of God; your body's fleeting years will support you.
Meditate on God; your soul's streaming years will transport you.
When you are in your body, you are God's creation.
When you are in your soul, you are God's realisation.

May 20

To love those who love us is to do the right thing.
To love those who do not love us is to do the nice thing.
To love God who loves us is to do the wise thing.

When we do the right thing, we are free.
When we do the nice thing, we are safe.
When we do the wise thing, we are fulfilled.

May 21

Our heart means impartiality.
Our mind means neutrality.
Our vital means partiality.
Our body means irresponsibility.
Our soul means responsibility.

May 22

The human race is God's Grace.
The divine race is God's Face.
The human race is God's necessity.
The divine race is God's spontaneity.

May 23

Ignorance is not fate, but fatal.
Aspiration is not realisation, but salvation.

May 24

In your life of desire, there is a mighty period after each progress.

In your life of aspiration, there is not even a tiny comma after each major progress.

May 25

The Ultimate Truth cannot be discussed.
The Highest Divinity cannot be argued.

Truth has to be realised.
Divinity has to be revealed.

May 26

The mind says: "Seeing is believing."
The heart says: "Believing is feeling."

The soul says: "Believing is feeling in the morning and seeing in the evening."

May 27

Man thinks that he is too young to learn the Truth, but too old to unlearn his ignorance.

May 28

When an unaspiring man looks upward, he feels that his life is obscure.
When he looks forward, he feels that his life is immature.
When he looks backward, he feels that his life is premature.
And finally, when he looks inward, he sees that his life is a giant failure.

May 29

When an aspiring man looks upward, he feels that his life is protection and salvation.
When he looks forward, he feels that his life is determination and realisation.
When he looks backward, he feels that his life is imperfection and frustration.
When he looks inward, he feels that his life is illumination and perfection.

May 30

Sincerity can never disgrace any seeker's aspiration.
Humility can never disgrace any man's realisation.
Sincerity is the fruit.
Aspiration is the tree.
Humility is the tree.
Realisation is the fruit.

May 31

God has made everything out of nothing.
But we cannot make even one thing out of everything.
Why?
The reason is quite simple and vivid: We do not have the living and fulfilling breath of the universal oneness.

June

June 1

Spirituality is the transformation of man's fondest hope into the highest reality.

June 2

Man's success is man's ability.
But ability is more than success.
Man's ability is God's assurance and God's performance in and through man.

June 3

Man's inner dignity and his outer necessity must live together in the house of the soul's illumining spontaneity.

June 4

"The survival of the fittest."

Indeed, this is the zenith of the human knowledge.
The divine knowledge is the revival of the dead souls, the souls that do not aspire.

June 5

Think in the sinking past.
Act in the living present.
Grow into the liberating future.

June 6

What human love requires is illumination.
But what it acquires is frustration.
What divine love requires is God's Heart.
What it acquires is not only God's Heart but also God the Realisation of inseparable oneness.

June 7

When an aspirant does not meditate regularly, he loses two things: Today's pride for him, Tomorrow's smile on him.

June 8

Yesterday I needed God's Smile.
Today I need God's Grace.
Tomorrow I shall need God's Concern.
Finally I shall need God's Fulfilment and nothing else.

June 9

If you want to enslave your animal thought, then meditate on God's Feet.
If you want to illumine your human thought, then meditate on God's Heart.
If you want to fulfil your divine thought, then meditate on God's Eye.

June 10

Doubt can be ended by love alone.
Fear can be ended by action alone.
Anxiety can be ended by surrender alone.
Frustration can be ended by faith alone.
Destruction can be ended by Grace alone.

June 11

Human doubt does not live but lingers.
Divine love does not linger but lives.
We shall linger to see the utter failure of doubt.
We shall live to see the complete victory of faith.

June 12

December 25

Can you see God?
Can you speak to God face-to-face with your personal effort?
Impossible.
You need God's infinite Grace in addition to your personal effort.

You are fit to receive God's Grace the moment you feel and realise that your limited personal efforts are also due to His boundless Grace.

Yogi: God tells man in silence that He will give him the Life of His Universal Oneness.

5. My name is Anita. Is anything in the world really close to us?

Yogi: God's forgiving and illumining Heart is really close to us.

6. My name is Timothy. What I need is the Light of self-perfection.

Yogi: Then what you do not need is the night of self-deception.

7. My name is Arlene. I am sorry to tell you that my wild ignorance is the cause of my earthly death.

Yogi: I am happy to tell you that the manifestation of your aspiration is the sole purpose of your Heavenly breath.

8. My name is Salvador. Except for you, nothing has any meaning for me.

Yogi: It is only when you are with me in your highest aspiration that anything has any meaning for me.

9. My name is Brenda. In order to be correct, I choose divinity.

Yogi: But in order to be perfect, you must seek divinity.

10. My name is Sigmund. I do not know what my body, my vital, my mind and my soul need.

Yogi: Your body needs the Flower. Your vital needs the Colour. Your mind needs the Fragrance. Your heart needs the Essence. Your soul needs the Presence.

11. My name is Clara. When Falsehood stands in front of me, I cannot endure him for long.

Yogi: That's fine. Don't worry. Just go and stand in front of Truth. Before long, Falsehood will ruthlessly hate you and leave you for good.

12. My name is Rudolph. I feel that deep within me, I have just an atom of divine love. Can I expect anything from God?

Yogi: You can, without the least possible hesitation, expect from God the very breath of His Universal Life.

13. My name is Donna. You have stolen my heart.

Yogi: You are right. But why do you forget that you stole first my concern and God's Compassion?

14. My name is Russell. What does God think of those who do not aspire?

Yogi: Only this much I can tell you, that God bears no grudge against them.

15. My name is Doris. From now on, I shall practise obedience.

Yogi: From now on, the Supreme in me will practise Pride in you.

16. My name is Ruben. I wish to be your devoted dog.

Yogi: To please yourself, certainly you can be so. But if you want to please me, then I want you to be God's roaring lion.

17. My name is Freda. When will God accept me?

Yogi: God will not only accept you immediately, but will proudly cherish you as His very own when you accept everything in the world with Love divine.

18. My name is Powell. Is there any real justice in the world?

Yogi: Justice there is, if you can see God in everything and everybody. Justice there is none and there can be none, if you love only yourself.

19. My name is Glorianna. Does God have a substitute?

Yogi: Yes, God's substitute is His Heart of Love. His equal is His Soul of Delight and His superior is His own unconditional Concern for mankind.

20. My name is Percival. Since I have not realised God, I feel that I am a form without the soul.

Yogi: Since I have realised God, I feel that without God, my existence is more insignificant than a grain of sand.

21. My name is Jasmine. It seems to me that when the inner love smiles, the higher truth appears.

Yogi: And sooner than at once, human reason disappears.

22. My name is Nero. I am consumed with the desire to smell the perfume of my inner musk. But unfortunately I do not know where my deer is.

Yogi: Your dear deer cannot bear the odour of your self-deception and self-annihilation. Therefore I have kept your deer safe inside God's Heart. When you are totally free from self-deception and self-annihilation, I shall give you back your deer so that you can smell the perfume of your inner musk devotedly and unreservedly.

23. My name is Lola. At times, when I come to you, I feel that my heart is empty of love and at other times I feel that it is full of love. Why?

Yogi: When you come to me with sighs like naked swords, your heart is bound to be empty of love. But when you come to me with a burning eagerness and flaming aspiration, your heart is bound to be full of love.

24. My name is Moses. I know nothing. Why? I also feel nothing. Why?

Yogi: As long as you want me to understand you in your own human way, you will know nothing about me and you will feel nothing about me. But when you want to know me and please me in my own divine and realised way, you will know everything about me, you will feel everything about me and you will receive everything from me.

25. My name is Madra. Who is more important, the divine lover or the divine beloved?

Yogi: Acceding to the divine observer, the divine lover and the divine beloved are equally important. But the divine lover thinks that the divine beloved is more important and the divine beloved feels that the divine lover is more important.

26. My name is Monroe. It is your compassion which has made me divine.

Yogi: Your gratitude places me in the sunshine of divinity.

27. My name is Sally. I have two more names: insincerity and ingratitude. I offer them to you.

Yogi: I have two more names: Inspiration and Aspiration. God has one more name: Compassion. I offer my names and God's name to you.

28. My name is Adam. I need joy.

Yogi: Then try to inherit my Experience.

29. My name is Ethel. I need fulfilment.

Yogi: Then try to inherit my Will-Power.

30. My name is Max. I need perfection.

Yogi: Then try to love and serve my Inner Pilot.

31. My name is Beth. In my opinion, what I have is intelligence and what you have is intuition.

Yogi: In my opinion, what you have is sincere attention and what I have is inner intention.

32. My name is Benjamin. I come to you so often and talk and talk. Is this not an imposition?

Yogi: No, it is not. What actually happens is that your soul always accepts my heart's invitation.

33. My name is Yvonne. Does God ever cut jokes?

Yogi: God cuts jokes twice: He cuts jokes about our self-imposed ignorance; He cuts jokes about the possibility of His self-chosen total manifestation on earth.

34. My name is Emmanuel. I know that we judge God. Does God also judge us?

Yogi: Yes, He does. He judges us only when our inner aspiration devotedly demands His Judgement-light for our realisation and perfection.

35. My name is Olga. I wish to open God's palace. We keep our keys on a key-ring; where does God keep His keys?

Yogi: God has no key-ring like we have. Since He has no fear of any kind of robbery, He leaves His keys on the street right after He has left His palace. Furthermore, He not only wants us to open His palace, but He also wants us to open His Heart's door freely and constantly.

36. My name is Ted. Is it correct to say that frustration ceases and then realisation begins, or does realisation begin and then frustration cease? Please let me know.

Yogi: When Compassion begins to descend from Above, simultaneously frustration ceases and realisation dawns — all at the same hour!

37. My name is Deborah. I am eager to learn, but I don't want to be taught. Why?

Yogi: I am eager to teach, but I don't want to be caught. That is why.

38. My name is Gabriel. Words no more shall come from me. From now on, only actions. My actions shall speak for me.

Yogi: If your actions speak for you, then rest assured that my highest realisation shall whisper to you.

39. My name is Winnifred. I wish to be unconditional and perfect.

Yogi: To be unconditional, you have to be supremely courageous in your inner life, and to be perfect, you have to be supremely generous in your outer life.

40. My name is Wilfred. I want to conquer my fear, jealousy and doubt.

Yogi: In order to conquer your fear, stay near me in your consciousness. Always.

In order to conquer your jealousy, give me all your mental fantasies.

In order to conquer your doubts, shout at your stupid mind as vehemently as possible. Also, there is an easier and more effective way. When doubt wants to assail you, just throw it into my boat. I shall sail it to the shores of total and perfect annihilation.

41. My name is Allison. Sometimes I feel that you don't understand me.

Yogi: It is not true. I understand you perfectly well. It is you who do not understand me at all, when your filthy desires compel your snow-white aspiration to starve.

42. My name is Gregory. I am curious to know if you have made any serious mistake in your life.

Yogi: Yes. I have made a serious mistake in thinking that God-manifestation on earth is an easy and simple task.

43. My name is Molly. Shall I think and then speak, or speak and then think?

Yogi: When you are in front of me, speak first and then think, to see if you have said the right thing. When you are physically away from me, think of me soulfully first and then speak to me silently.

44. My name is Shelley. I am spiritually hungry.

Yogi: That is wonderful. Unfortunately, your hunger is in the mind. But you must know that the feast is in the heart.

45. My name is Pauline. Is it true that aspiration is always needed in the inner life?

Yogi: Yes. To cover the sea, water is needed. To fill the heart, love is needed. To cover the mind, truth is needed. To fulfil the soul, aspiration-flames are needed.

46. My name is Mario. Can aspiration offer outer information?

Yogi: Outer information, no. It is not necessary, either. Inner information, yes. This inner information is called the soul's glorious preparation.

The outer school does not know what aspiration is. The inner school does not know what information is. Information is possessed and cherished by the mind. Aspiration is offered by God and utilised by man.

47. My name is Nanette. How can I be humble?

Yogi: Feel that you are not indispensable either on earth or in Heaven. Also try to realise that humility is something that man cleverly shows and God fully is. Finally, the very pursuit of your inner glory will make you humble.

48. My name is Nicholas. Today I am feeling real love for you.

Yogi: Wonderful. Today's love is your tearful prayer. Tomorrow's love is your prayerful soul. The day after tomorrow's love is your soulful realisation.

49. My name is Beatrice. I wish to know what will actually happen when I see the truth.

Yogi: When you see the truth, you will know the path. When you feel the truth, you will belong to the path. When you realise the truth, you will become the path.

50. My name is Pearson. Why do I always complain? Why do I always try to explain?

Yogi: You complain because you are not in love with aspiration. You explain because you are not in love with realisation. Aspiration is far above complaint. Realisation is far above explanation.

51. My name is Frances. Please tell me what do the animal, the human and the divine in me want?

Yogi: The animal in you wants you to feel that God means destruction. The human in you wants you to feel that God is temptation. The divine in you wants you to feel that God means surrendering light and fulfilled height.

52. My name is Alex. It seems to me that I am nearing my realisation.

Yogi: Yes, you are nearing the realisation of your teeming stupidity and not the realisation of your blooming divinity.

53. My name is Alexandra. I am sure that my realisation is a far cry.

Yogi: No hurry. Don't worry. I shall wait for you.

54. My name is Frederick. I don't need realisation. I need only you.

Yogi: You fool. How can I betray God? At the very beginning, I promised you and God, that I would take you to Him. God needs you. And you need God and God alone. I am only the bridge.

55. My name is Erika. What is the difference between a liberated soul and a realised soul?

Yogi: A liberated soul usually does not care for God-manifestation on earth. He feels that once he is liberated, his role in the cosmic drama is ended. A realised soul cries for God-manifestation. He feels that once he is realised, his role in the cosmic drama has properly begun. A liberated soul is freed from the meshes of ignorance, and at the same time is extremely careful of wild ignorance. A realised soul has discovered his own inner divinity which is flooded with God's all-seeing vision and all-fulfilling reality. A liberated soul usually uses God according to his own capacity. A realised soul uses God only when asked by God Himself. The human and the unreal in us cease in liberation. The divine and the real in us begin in realisation.

56. My name is Herbert. Which is more important of the two, God's Grace or God's Justice?

Yogi: To him who wants to love God, God's Grace is more important. To him who wants God to love him, God's Justice is more important.

57. My name is Grace. Who loves you most?

Yogi: I love myself much. My unconditionally surrendered disciples (if I ever have any in this lifetime) will love me more. God loves me most.

58. My name is Kenneth. I want you never to run out of advice.

Yogi: What kind of injustice are you hurling at me? Do you want me always to draw the breath of my life in your brooding vice! Believe me, I have already run out of advice. What now I am giving you and others is not advice, but my self-imposed futile concern.

59. My name is Lorraine. Although we are your disciples, your spiritual children, it seems to me that you listen to us more than we listen to you.

Yogi: Perhaps you do not know the real reason. You know, long, long ago, long before my full realisation, there was a time when God listened to me more than I listened to him, so now God is paying me back through my disciples. On achieving my highest realisation, I have really become a good boy. I always listen to Him in my life of aspiration, realisation, revelation and manifestation.

60. My name is Thomas. Forgive me, doubt and I are inseparable. I am sure I shall ask God for proof even when He stands right in front of me.

Yogi: That is why poor God is moving Heaven and earth in search of His identification card. It seems to me that He has misplaced it. No, I am wrong. Excuse me. I am now positive that God has compassionately thrown His identification card deep inside your ignorance-sea. Unfortunately, the dragon-doubt in your ignorance-sea has devoured it completely. Poor God. Since you are responsible for God losing His identification card, it will be nice, kind and generous of you not to embarrass God by asking Him for it. Next time when God comes and stands in front of you, immediately tell Him, at least for my sake, that you have revoked your charge and that you have accepted Him as your Lord Supreme, as your very own.

Part III — God the Supreme Musician

God the Supreme Musician

God, the Musician, knows that music is spirituality, music is Immortality. Man, the musician, thinks that music is sensuality, music is mortality.

God, the Musician, knows that His music is His Transcendental Self-communion. Man, the musician, thinks that his music is his world’s life-long companion.

God, the Musician, is divinely and eternally mysterious. Man, the musician, is humanly and temporarily marvellous.

God’s music tells us that music is the realisation of the universal soul. Man’s music tells us that music is the aspiration of the individual soul.

God’s music runs from the height to the depth. Man’s music runs from the breadth to the length. On the height God’s music is His Vision. In the depth God’s music is His Reality. In the breadth, man’s music is his crying soul. In the length, man’s music is his victory’s goal.

God’s music is the constant expansion of His Soul’s Delight. Man’s music is the preparation of his life’s hunger for perpetual joy.

God’s music kills God with its infinite luminosity. Man’s music kills man with its undying curiosity.

Music in the unlit body is destruction. Music in the unlit vital is passion. Music in the unlit mind is confusion. Music in the unlit heart is frustration.

Music in the aspiring body is creation. Music in the aspiring vital is purification. Music in the aspiring mind is liberation. Music in the aspiring heart is revelation.

My God, the Supreme Musician, has two families. One is in the East, the other in the West. He tells His eastern children, precisely, His Indian children, that music is the soul’s purity. He tells His western children that music is life’s beauty. He tells His eastern children that music is the fulfilling rest at the bottom of the life-sea. He tells His western children that music is the dance of the multitudinous waves of the life-sea. He tells His eastern children: “My children, among you those who can run will run, those who can march will march, and those who can walk will walk towards their destined goal.” He tells His western children: “My children, I want you all to stay together. I want you all to run together towards your destined goal.” He tells His eastern children: “My children, what you have is a one-pointed and unbroken chain of unity. That is good.” He tells His western children: “My children, what you have is the unity in diversity. That is great.” He tells His eastern children: “My children, what you have is your dream’s poetry, what you have is your reality’s literature.” He tells His western children: “My children, what you have is your dream’s arithmetic, what you have is your reality’s mathematics.”

Here we are all seekers, seekers of the infinite Truth. I wish to tell you that Beethoven was also a genuine seeker. Some of you are consumed with the desire to arouse and awaken your Kundalini so that you can have occult powers to perform miracles. Well, I wish to tell you that you do not have to practise any specific spiritual discipline in order to awaken your Kundalini. Beethoven is a striking example. His soulful music of the other world did awaken his Kundalini. You try with your own soul’s music. I assure you that you, too, will succeed. Now, what Beethoven says on music is true not only from the intellectual and emotional point of view, but also from the spiritual point of view:

"Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life. Although the spirit be not master of that which it creates through music, yet it is blessed in this creation, which, like every creation of art, is mightier than the artist."

Music is the Vedic bird in us. This bird is called Suparna. This bird divine flies in the welkin of Infinity, through Eternity, with the message of Immortality. Here on earth, we do notice that the birds have the capacity to sing in endless measure, whereas we human beings try to create or develop this capacity. Tagore defends us:
"To the birds you gave songs, the birds gave you songs in return.
You gave me only voice, yet asked for more, and I sing."

The poet-bird in Keats, divinely intoxicated, flies in front of me, before my ken:
"Was it a vision, or a waking dream?
Fled is that music:" — do I wake or sleep?

The music bird is within us to stay, to give us love. The music bird is without us to fly, to give us joy.

Since music is a universal language, it has no need to express itself in any particular language of the world. Rabindranath Tagore says: “Music is the purest form of art, and, therefore, the most direct expression of beauty, with a form and spirit which is one and simple, and least encumbered with anything extraneous. We seem to feel that the manifestation of the Infinite in the finite forms of creation is music itself, silent and visible.”

Our body’s food is either vegetable or meat or both. But our soul’s food is music. Undoubtedly it is so. Even our physical nature at times desperately needs music.

What Bovee says is undeniably true: “Music is the fourth great material want of our nature, — first food, then raiment, then shelter, then music.”

In the spiritual world next to meditation is music, the breath of music. Meditation is silence, energising and fulfilling. Silence is the eloquent expression of the inexpressible. “After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.”

They say, “Music is another woman who talks charmingly, but says nothing.” I say, “Music is verily the woman who, at once, tells everything divinely and offers everything unreservedly.”

They say, “Classical music is the music without words, modern music is the music without music.” I say, “Classical music is the music that lasts after it has all been sung, modern music is the music that begins long before it actually begins.” In classical music we try to see God the eternal Beyond. In modern music we see God the eternal Now.”

Music is our soul’s home. God is the Supreme Musician. In Sri Krishna I see God the Supreme Musician. Krishna’s flute stirs the universal consciousness. He plays on His flute. We listen. We do something more. We barter our body’s dust with His Soul’s plenitude.”

To Sri Krishna I bow, we bow.

Part IV — Beauty

Beauty

An unaspiring man desires beauty without. A seeker of Peace desires beauty within. A lover of God desires both beauty within and beauty without.

The outer beauty that a lover of God desires is totally different from the beauty that an unaspiring man cries for. An unaspiring man is both tempted and tempting. When he is tempted, he wants the outer world of beauty to cherish him. When he is tempting, he wants to bind the outer world of beauty. His acts of tempting others and of being tempted by others eventually lead him into frustration. Lo, inside his frustration there are two animals, a tiger and a cat. The cat is being devoured by the tiger. Soon he comes to realise that the tiger is none other than his all-devouring ego, and that the cat is none other than his ever-crying and begging desire.

A God-lover's outer beauty: he wants his outer beauty to inspire the length and breadth of the world. His beauty is the beauty of a fragrant rose. His beauty is the affection of an affectionate mother. His beauty is the beauty of a fruitful tree.

A fragrant rose makes our outer body fragrant. An affectionate mother offers to our outer life a flood of affection. A fruitful tree reminds us of our inner tree which bears joy, countless joys.

A God-lover's inner beauty: his inner beauty is the flowering of his consciousness. His inner beauty is the height of his aspiration. His inner beauty is the light of his realisation.

The outer beauty is the necessity of humanity. The inner beauty is the light of his realisation.

An aspirant is really beautiful when he comes to learn that he is all heart. An aspirant is divinely beautiful when he feels that he is all soul. An aspirant is supremely beautiful when he discovers that he has in abundant measure what God eternally is.

When we live in the emotional vital, our beauty is an outer gift. When we live in the aspiring heart, our beauty is an inner gift. The outer gift feels the outer world as a world of strangers. The inner gift feels the inner world as a world of illumining and illumined oneness.

Beauty without light is a flower without fragrance. Beauty with light is a human being without ignorance.

The beauty of life is our purity's spontaneity. The beauty of truth is our sincerity's necessity. The beauty of God-realisation is our aspiration's divinity.

We look beautiful within when our passions die. We look more beautiful within when our inner flame mounts. We look most beautiful within when our sun of realisation bursts.

The power of beauty is an aspirant's manifested motherhood. The peace of beauty is an aspirant's fulfilled fatherhood. The bliss of beauty is an aspirant's transformed and divinised manhood.

When I am physically beautiful, God smiles. God smiles at me because I am using His own dress. When I am spiritually beautiful, God plays. God plays with me because He has got me as His own playmate.

He who does not become, spiritually, the pages of cosmic beauty, will one day ruthlessly be compelled to read the book of fate, by Ignorance. Not even God the Compassionate will hide the book of fate from him.

If we start with the soul's beauty, we can end in the Supreme's transcendental Reality. Let us start.

Obscurity says to Beauty: "Beauty, why are you so beautiful?"

Beauty answers, "Obscurity, better ask me how I am so beautiful and not why. I am beautiful because my heart's soulful cry always touches the feet of God."

Purity speaks to Beauty: "Beauty, I wish to stay with you for some time."

Beauty answers, "Purity, certainly you may. I would love to have you. But don't forget to bring your identification."

"What is my identification?" asks Purity.

"Don't you know what your identification is? Your identification is your life-long spontaneity."

Austerity speaks to Beauty: "Beauty, you are a fool. You never aspire. I am really sorry to tell you that you are God's only failure."

"Austerity, granted, I am God's failure. But certainly you are no better than I am. Remember, God is all Love. Remember, God is all recreation."

Calamity says to Beauty: "Beauty, I loved you. Look at my deplorable consciousness. Look at time which has deserted me. Look at my fallen life!"

"Calamity, I can solve all your problems, once and for all. Give me your deplorable consciousness. From now on, it will live with my inner life. Give me the time that has deserted you. From now on, it will live with my inner breath. Give me your fallen life. From now on, it will live with my inner Goal."

Dignity speaks to Beauty: "Beauty, I understand perfectly why others bow down to you, but I do not know what makes me bow to you."

"Dignity, your heart's necessity tells you that I have the power to increase the capacity of your nobility's light."

Hostility says: "Beauty, my name is Hostility. I want to destroy you. I want to banish you from God's world. I want to destroy your beauty, both inner and outer, here and now."

Beauty says, "Hostility, you can never destroy me because inside me God the Necessity is immortalising me. Outside me, God the Omnipotent Reality is protecting me, cherishing me and fulfilling me."

Divinity whispers: "Can you tell me, Beauty, why I need you throughout Eternity?"

"Mother, you need me because within me you see your own everlasting divine sovereignty."

Part V — To The Source

1.

Aspiration you want? Knock at the door of Silence. Silence you want? Knock at the door of Surrender. You will get what you want and something more: Liberation.

2.

I repeat God's name, not because I feel that by repeating God's name I shall be able to unseal God's ears, but because I see Him in different forms of inner beauty while each time I repeat His name.

3. Another day

Another day, another day.
My Lord Supreme is far away.
Another day, my heart can be
The all-giving breath of patience-tree.
Another day, my life can feed
My soulful world with its crying need.
Another day, I own to hear
God’s Voice of Light and feel Him near.
Another day, another day.
My tears shall win His blue-gold Ray.
Another day, another day.
And then, no more my ignorance-clay.
Another day, I’ll be God’s love
Within, without, below, above.

4.

Love of God is the beginning of human wisdom. Surrender to God's Will is the flowering of divine wisdom.

5.

God shoots the arrows of concern from the bow of compassion.

Man shoots the arrows of ingratitude from the bow of ignorance.

6.

Music is the Vedic bird in us. This bird is called Suparna. This bird divine flies in the welkin of Infinity through Eternity with the message of Immortality.

7.

Self-control is the root of higher wisdom.

Self-realisation is the tree of inner wisdom.

7.

Unfortunately the eye of fear has a free access to God's entire creation. Fortunately the heart of courage also has a free access to God's entire creation.

8.

If you can make your heart the cow of love, your body the dog of devotion, and your mind the deer of surrender, your liberation is absolutely certain.

9.

Human life is always given strength to fly the kite of hope.

10. Dream

The sky with sun and moon and stars
Leans down today to clasp my soul.
Their boundless love and peace sublime
Lead me to Freedom, snow-capped goal.

I hear the Hymn that bars decay
And makes my bosom ever green
With faith and ardent inmost call,
I have become the Freedom-Sheen.

My bird of dawn is on the wing,
Its wonder-goal within its ken.
The sombre death now weeps in awe
Alone in his secret eyeless den.

11.

Anger is ink spilt and thrown over one's graceful heart of sweetness.

12. My foe

My foe is none but I.
All future I reap from deeds of mine.
If I receive not aid
From me, no soul will make me shine.
The evil forces lie
Within, around my symbol sheath.
They seize my knowledge-sun,
And tear my mind with dragon teeth.

13.

The tree of life can never be separated from the tree of love. The tree of love can never be separated from the tree of realisation. The tree of realisation can never be separated from the tree of transcendental perfection.

14. Immortality

I feel in all my limbs His boundless Grace;
Within my heart the Truth of life shines white.
The secret heights of God my soul now climbs;
No dole, no sombre pang, no death in my sight.

No mortal days and nights can shake my calm;
A Light above sustains my secret soul.
All doubts with grief are banished from my deeps,
My eyes of light perceive my cherished Goal.

Though in the world, I am above its woe;
I dwell in an ocean of supreme release.
My mind, a core of the One’s unmeasured thoughts,
The star-vast welkin hugs my Spirit’s peace.

My eternal days are found in speeding time,
I play upon His Flute of rhapsody.
Impossible deeds no more impossible seem,
In birth-chains now shines Immortality.

Editor's introduction to the first edition

This book is a gift to you, and to me, of ageless wisdom converted into a contemporary form by the loving hands of the great Indian Spiritual Master Sri Chinmoy.

To read the words of Sri Chinmoy is to feed the aspiring mind spiritually. To feed the aspiring mind is to eventually touch the heart. The heart is the home of the soul. When the heart is touched, we are aware of God's Presence within us.

Sri Chinmoy has written for January 20th: “Earth wants you to be great. Heaven wants you to be good. God wants you to be spontaneously genuine. When you become great, you will realise how insignificant you are. When you become good, you will realise how false your life is. When you become spontaneously genuine, your life grows into God’s perfect perfection.”

When we concentrate on our divine ideal, we ARISE from our ignorance-sleep. When we meditate on the daily aphorisms, our lives are AWAKENED. When we meditate on Sri Chinmoy, we WALK with him, our unerring guide. When we sit in front of him and meditate while receiving his Blessing, we MARCH with the swiftest.

When our soul’s cry and God’s Delight are in communion, we RUN with the fastest. When we are totally one with God, we FLY.

For me, these daily meditations are God's teachings. Both of us, you and I, can endlessly learn from these teachings.

“Please tell me, God, how can I make these teachings most meaningful for me? I wish to Arise, Awake, Walk, March, Run, Fly.”

If you care enough to ask God this question every morning, to read each day’s meditation, three times, most soulfully, and to empty your mind of everything except the silence of God’s Presence, then God’s Voice will answer this question through your heart. Beyond this, if you can remember each day’s meditation throughout the day, you will see and feel your life in the process of complete transformation.

The meditations have meaning for the aspirants who are only awakening as well as for those who are ready to fly. Within a single meditation there are often multiple meanings depending on the level of understanding of the aspirant.

Inherent in them are hints of the overall teachings of Sri Chinmoy, and of that most precious living Master-disciple relationship. Most incredibly, Sri Chinmoy is alive in this century and is available to help sincere seekers!

Sri Chinmoy has written and published many essays, stories, poems, and songs. This creation of his is all the more astonishing when one feels that his achievements in the inner world dwarf the achievements in the outer world. For he is not only in touch with each disciple every day, no matter where the disciple may be (and the disciples are spread out over several continents), but he is able to give the most blessed help the human mind can imagine, as it is needed, when such help is in keeping with God’s Cosmic Will.

The Supreme Guru is God Himself. Sri Chinmoy, through his words and through his presence, helps us feel God’s Love, Peace, Light, Bliss, and Power. The meditations open the door to Sri Chinmoy’s Garden where God has planted a bumper crop to feed all aspirants. Indeed, it is the feast of the century.
