To deceive mankindIs the last thing on my mind;
Yet God does not trust me.
To replace God
Is the last thing on my mind;
Yet humanity does not trust me.
To bridge the distance between man and God
Is the last thing on my mind;
But neither Heaven nor earth trusts me.
To kill earth’s night and sow Heaven’s Delight
Is the first thing on my mind;
But my heart’s sincerity does not trust me.
