In the morningI am a lamb-god.
The Absolute Supreme
Loves me, fondles me
And tells me
I am His All.
I tell my Lord
I accept His matchless Gift
With my heart’s gratitude-flame.
In the evening
I am a lion-god.
The Absolute Supreme
Energises me, perfects me
And tells me
I must feed Him in all.
I tell my Lord
I accept His supreme Command
With my heart’s humility-dew.
