A Father’s Gratitude

The story about Kamalakanta’s father reminds me of Sphulinga’s father. He was the Chief Editor of Time magazine. His father came to see me. The very first thing he said was, “Sri Chinmoy, I am so grateful to you. You have brought back my son to me. For years and years, we lived in two worlds. He never, never listened to me, never listened, but now that he has joined you, he comes regularly to my place, and we have established such harmony. So grateful to you that you have brought my son back to me.”

I will never forget our first conversation. He has come so many times to our art exhibits, and he likes my bird drawings.
