Asha niye asi bhabe
Asha diye chale jai
Purnata maha bani
Hetha nai hotha nai

Translation

I came into the world with hope.
I am on my way to the other world
Leaving behind me my hope.
Fulfilment-message is not to be found
In any part of the world.
