46. Earth-sorrow, Heaven-joy

Earth-sorrow
Is time-born;
    Therefore
It cannot last.

Heaven-joy
Is beyond the snares of time;
    Therefore
It will not only last
    But also
    Invoke the past,
    Energise the present,
    Expedite the future
    Into the immediacy of today.
