38. TRUMPETS

You are really good and divine;
   Therefore
You blow God’s trumpet only.

He is really bad and undivine;
   Therefore
He blows his own trumpet only.

I am neither good nor bad,
   Neither divine nor undivine;
      Therefore
I have no trumpet of my own.
