My Lord Supreme,
May each defeat, each failure, remind me
Of what I have already accomplished
With Your infinite Grace and Compassion,
And not of what I have not accomplished
And will never accomplish.
I know, I know, my Lord,
This "never" accomplishment is an absurdity.
For You are my inner aspiration
And outer inspiration.
Therefore, I can have no permanent failure.
I shall have success after success
And progress, continuous progress,
For that is what You want from me.
