Scene 8

(The spot in the forest where Lakshmana left Sita. Enter Rama and Lakshmana. Sita is gone.)

LAKSHMANA: Brother, I knew it. I knew it.

RAMA: I don’t blame you, my dearest Lakshmana. But now we have to find Sita. Life without Sita is meaningless for me.

LAKSHMANA: Rama, life without you is meaningless for me. Now what can we do?

RAMA: Let us search for our Sita. Sita, Sita, no matter where you are, this heart of love is for you, only for you.

LAKSHMANA: Sita, Sita, no matter where you are, Mother Sita, this heart of adoration, Supreme Adoration, is for you.
