Alone have I come into the world
To see Your Lotus-Feet.
Will I ever see You, my Lord?
In my tiny life-boat I know
I am poor in spirit.
I know my greed knows no bounds.
Lord, You are Your infinite Compassion.
Your constant self-giving shows Your real name.
Therefore I know I am still able to live on earth.
