Jachibona taba hisi mor mana pure
Phule phale sushovile taba asha taru
Shudha rase bhara jabe e jiban maru
Taba abhilash mor hridayer hasi
Nahi chai kichu mago shudhu bhalobasi

If You really want
To go away from me,
Then You may do so;
I shall not long for Your Smile
In the city of my mind.
If Your own world-tree starts bearing fruit,
I am sure my life-desert, too,
Will be flooded with nectar-delight.
